I downloaded Soune Taya's voicebank a little while ago.... http://www1.axfc.net...ader/N/so/82153 (The keyword is taya in katakana)

Going to his Voicebank settings, but when trying to listen to the syllables, there comes no sound! ;_____;

This is a serious thing. I have not set the system locale to Japanese, though I have the English patch in Utau. I can't see the kanas in non-unicode proggrammss...... If that even helped.

Help me, please. Answer please.

I think I know what the problem is. His voicebank has all the filenames in kana, which won't display on a non-Japanese computer. Even setting the system locale to Japanese and downloading his voicebank again doesn't help. As far as I know, the only way to fix the problem is to download a romaji version of his voicebank. There is a thread somewhere for requesting romaji voicebanks; Taya's should be uploaded there at some point, because I requested it about a week ago.

But why is there no sound? Because of that? I've tried to make the oto.ini but that doesn't work either.

I can't hear his kana samples but I can hear his kanji samples. I can't even make the oto.inis! O.O If I make the oto.ini for the kanji samples, he's missing a LOT of syllables.... That's not fair.

So I have to have a Japanese computer to get Taya working right? Damnit.

Miku has a romaji-aliased version of his voicebank. If the kana displays correctly, you could ask her for it. If it doesn't, she is working on a converted version with the filenames in romaji. You could ask her for the link for that one if you need to.

I just found that out. Better go asking her... (or is it him? xD)
