I’ve lost count of how many tears have fallen after I reached the number 713.
The bliss of the happiness that I can’t touch keeps distancing itself from me.
My face begins to become pale as my eyes turn into the color of red.
The fact of my existence fading away as the days roll on.

It seems that my only means is to eat this bag of sweet candy until my heart is temporarily fixed.

So, I’ll just take this sweet piece of candy and eat it as if it will absorb all of my bitterness.
Then pretend to hold my head up high for everyone around me.
The cold feeling of the night growing into being the only place that comforts me.

Chocolate, sweet tarts, and jelly beans. Which one will be the most comfort today?
I guess I’ll just get the cheapest one and hope it has more worth then expense.
The gracious flavor of sweet tarts grazes my trembling lips shaking from lack of smiling.

To wash away all the bitterness I’ll just simply eat this sweet candy.
Then let my lips pretend that they are used to the ways of smiling.
The fog from the freezing temperatures of the night being the only thing that bothers to be near me.

Our eyes meeting in an electric gaze.
Our hearts soon connected as one,
But the pressure had gathered, multiplying rapidly.

I was 30 feet under, swimming to the surface in the matter of minutes,
Out of fright.
My breath wouldn’t form for me,
Even though I was surrounded by endless air.

My exhaustion dragged me into the Mesopelagic zone.
The familiar street lights fading around me.
The only thing left was the stars,
My vision drowning them in my own tears.

“What’s this?”
“It’s a bracelet. Keep it.”

My voiced drowned in the Bathypelagic Zone,
Captured in the inescapable darkness.
My body was unable to curl into a ball of comfort,
Something it does instinctively out of fear.

This growing pressure slowly shatters my strength like glass.
The unbearable pain drifts us apart,
And the bracelet soon untied itself,
Being washed away.

Time slowly comes to a halt in the Abyssopelagic Zone.
Everything is now cold to the touch.
The pounding in my chest has halted.
What day is it?

The Hadalpelagic zone is where the truth became an illusion,
Sounds of laughter becoming faint dreams.
What does your face look like?

This heart of mine shatters under the illusion.
It can no longer take this distorted body of mine.
