Well, I'm sure every single one of us had an anime that we were pumped for only to be disappointed. Was it the drawing style? Animation Style? Storyline?

Well, what anime(s) were you disappointed in?

If it includes spoilers but it in the spoilers box, durr.

--

First, I'd say Togainu No Chi. Honestly, the drawing style was meh. But if you played the Visual Novel THEN watched the anime you would be disappointed beyond belief. Well it was probably partially because

. Also, it was because it started slow, finally caught up, and ended terribly. Of course, this is sheer opinion.

Another would be Black Rock Shooter. I'm sure MANY of you would agree with me. I was very hyped up for this OVA only to be utterly disappointed. Sure, it had beautiful artwork and animation style. But the story just seemed... incomplete or rushed... I wish they would make a full anime of it.

Another one for sure would be Clannad. It's possible my least favorite anime. Why? Because it was so overrated. I was expecting an uber cryfest. Instead, I didn't cry at all. It seemed too... sappy... for me. It made me think.

Finally, I'd have to say K-On!! (Season 2). When people say they dislike this season, they never give an explanation (At least to me). So I will give one. I watched K-On! for the MUSIC. Oh, the music for the first series was AMAZING. I loved how the anime mostly revolved around the music. But then the second season came. I was so excited. But then got shot down.

I was kinda disappointed about the drawing style in Starry Sky anime. =____=
I knew that there would be changes, especially otome games with gorgeous art that gets an anime, still I but can't help but go ".........." when I watch it.

I have to agree. The drawing style is a bit.... iffy.... But it's still good :D! But yeah, the art kinda kills it =3=

I'm kinda disappointed with the Vampire Knight anime. It's harder to follow and the acting is not as good D:

BRS ova was cute, but the PEOPLE needed many more frames, and some detail would be nice.

God...... DBGT. I want to STRANGLE whoever came up with the idea.

I was also dissapointed by FMA. ( NOT FMAB) It was so diffrent then the manga. It pissed me off.

Strawberry Panic- Recommended by a friend who like GL like me and said it was really cute.

NEVER AGAIN.

I was really disappointed with Elfen Lied's anime in comparison to the manga, it really left out a lot of things (though some of them, I have to admit, were good-I'm looking at YOU, random fanservice diaper chick).

I know I probably wouldn't like stuff like Ore Imouto and MM! anyway, but I decided to give them a shot and realized I was right.

Oh! Black Butler. Why on earth is it so popular? I just don't get it. I heard it was all amazing and so I watched it and...it was pretty much just fanservice for girls, but the characters were (mostly) dumb and annoying and I was not aroused in the least. Though YES, MAI LOAD did make me chuckle.

And Bakemonogatari too. Actually, I think I may just be allergic to anime where the main girl is tsundere (IE most anime). The art/animation was quite nice, but I just didn't get what was so awesome about this anime.

The fucking Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro anime.

Seriously. They fucked up SO bad. The story was fucked around with to the point I pretend that the anime never was even created. The character's personalities (Like Yako) were butchered to death. They were also trying to fuel/feed NeuroxYako shippers and shit. Ugh.

The manga was so brilliantly made but the anime....
Such a huge disappointment. ):

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi.
I expected something awesome, because I was seeing everyone loving it so much.
... I hated the first two episodes. The characters were... Horrible. The story was... Beyond weird.

Axis Powers Hetalia. When I first heard it was an anime about History/World War II, I was dead excited to watch it (since I'm a history fangirl).

Never was I so disappointed in an anime in my life.

Here's a big one:
Seikon no Qwaser.
I was so appealed by the awesome opening and I knew it had plenty of fanservice (I can handle it pretty well) but my gosh how much they put in there was ridiculous. I can't even watch it for the plot. Not even for their awesome fighting scenes because..
Spoiler

Another one is Psychic detective Yakumo. I thought it'd be cool, it wasn't as great to me in the end. :/
