Hello!

I just suddenly felt like clogging up the Artist's Grotto with my lame attempts at art, so I did!

This is one of my oldest characters, I still draw her like I did back then, aside from the results of my skills increasing what they have.
Her name is Lixue.
There's actually a joke to her: she's a female version of myself. I created her when that was a big thing on a certain few sites, gender bending yourself for the sake of art. No one ever saw her though because I turned around and incorporated her into one of my secret projects that never go very far off the ground. Since then she's appeared in some form in every single story I created.
I can prove she's at least one year old, see: here (deviantART link), she's in the bottom right corner besides her twin sister, who is the other half of the female me, since I'm so complicated.

Ahh... I have more to post now.

Wednesday (7-10-11) I found out that I had been drafted to whip up a couple of pieces for a certain event. Which was to take place Saturday. ...I was quite busy already. What I needed was a FanArt or Orignal Piece (I chose Fan Art) and a Comic/Manga-style page of 4 to 6 panels, I had 3 days.
This is what I came up with.

This was done entirely in pencil, it took me a total of two days to complete.
I like this one. the Hakugyokurou faction is one of my favorite groups from Touhou. ...Although the Scarlet Devil Mansion still takes the cake. I didn't draw that faction because the sheer difference in the number of characters... (Haku's 2/3 vs SDM's 6...)

My scanner butchered it quite a bit, as scanners of its age usually do to pencil works. There was more noticeable shading in the BG making it a clearly dicernable circle, and the shadows on the two characters wasn't as sharp. But I think it salvaged pretty nicely.
I still like it.

Original Character Love.
This is a page from a [unwritten] gag series I call "Kawakita High Days". It centers around the daily lives of the remarkable or unremarkable student council of a school where basically literally anything goes.
This particualy page features two of its members, Ting Ting Shuang and Lixue Shuang, from above post.
I think the joke of this page is obvious, but if anyone asks I'll explain it.

I got to work on this one after I finished the Touhou fanart above, so I only had one day left...
I stayed awake until 7:30 Saturday morning to finish it.
And that incuded everything from sketches to final drafts, to inking, to shading (since I don't have tone)...
I think I would have died had I decided to color this...
Oh, yes. This entire thing was done by hand, including the inking (I hate inking).
