It seems that DECO*27 gave Luvits an interiview promoting his new album "Aimai Elegy". The interview was translated by vgboy. Go to his site for more interviews, I believe there's a Hachi interview or two. c:

A few bits from the interview:

Quote

First, tell us about your recent release, Love-Lost Elegy. It’s a bit of a departure from your last work, what with mixing in some vocalists.

DECO*27: Lots of the people who listen to my music like Vocaloid, so I wanted to use both vocalists and Vocaloids so that I could please my core audience as well as utilize the merits of raw vocals and live performances. Additionally, by collaborating with a variety of vocalists, I thought “Can I make this an album that will get general, vocalist-preferring listeners to like Vocaloids?” That would expand the possibilities of my music, so I made an album that tried to bridge the gap between the two.

These ideas of “bridging the gap” were solidifying in your mind from the start, I bet.

DECO*27: I needed to consider how to make this concept of bringing vocalists and Vocaloid together work in harmony. The order of the tracks was one thing, but I also put an excessive amount of thought into who would sing which songs. I appointed vocalists that jived with the concept of each individual song. The album begins with an instrumental and ends with an instrumental, but if you take those out, note that it begins with marina and ends with marina.

Go to the first linked source for the rest. c:

Er, I hope I did everything correctly and this is placed in right section. First time postin' here, ya'know. I've never really played in this section except for lurking and the occasional comment. It's a bit dated but I hope that's not an issue.

Inb4 "omg DECO*27 is sooo HAWT"

Anyway, you know there's tons of interview translations on vgboy's site and they're been on there for a while. People (including me) are just noticing them now because they were posted on Vocaloidism.

I dunno, he doesn't look that handsome to me. ono I didn't think he'd be that young though. And I gotta hand it to him, he considers basically everything when he's making a song or an album. This makes me like, and respect, him a little bit more.

I think he's cute. Like, baby-face cute. I wanna pinch his cheeks.

In all seriousness I love his answers. They're so well thought out. Give's me a new appreciation for his songs.

I think he's just average-looking too (he would look a lot better if he didn't bleach his hair, natural is always best) but like half the responses on Vocaloidism concern his looks sooo... lol.

But yeah, like I implied in my earlier post this isn't really news per se since this interview was translated a long time ago...

I guess the people at Vocaloidism rarely see good looking Japanese... :P
But yeah, he's pretty good looking, not idol level handsomeness, just hmm, adorable looking.
Some producers have that kind of looks, like Rerulili and Nanou. ikemenproducersisn'tjustamyth

And why people are surprised at DECO's age like he's the youngest popular P?
There's always Nanou (21 this year), Machigerita & Hachi (both will be 20.. well, Machige is already 20 since January), and LeleleP (19 this year)

tbh i pictured really scrawny neck, huge adams apple and big glasses...

so suffice to say he's better looking than I expected, not my type though. He seems like a cool guy based on that interview.

That's makes sense
I've been picturing him as a cute guy ever since I heard his singing voice.

BTW, the big glasses part reminds me with Doriko's glasses in last year concert... Though it strikes more as funky than geeky.

Maybe, I should do a research on how many Producers that wear glasses :P *is actually a megane fetish*

Let me let it out...DECO*27...KYAAAAAA!!*o*
One of my favorite list, and he's so cute. I think it's great to see who's the real person behind the songs, the lyrics, the melody. This interview is good, DECO*27 knows his fans.
