I like all of the Engloids, but Prima is the number 1 for me. I like how dynamic can be in the hands of some producers. Plus, she has such a clear voice!

I also like Tonio, but he (to me at least) sounds not as good as Prima.

As for the others, I never got into some of them because of a lack of songs using them.

I had no idea Big Al would be the most popular O.O But he's deffinately one of my favorites too. My other favorite Engloids are Leon and Lola.
I like most of the Engloids but I have problems finding people who make original songs with them.

Miriam should work on Windows 7. I have Windows 7, and Lola works... not perfectly, but well enough.

If you were to download her, I'd reccomend saving frequently. Extremely frequently. And avoid selecting and moving all notes at once- if you do that, Vocaloid1 is very likely to crash.

(That's what the Windows 7 comment was about, right? XD)

thus far i have not had any v1 malfunction under windows 7. but i guess it depends on several factors such as updates applied, services running, anti-virus type, hardware configurations such as memory or CPU type or family and so on. Some people say she won't run at all under windows 7. i suspect that one or more of the above conditions can cause v1 to fail to work or work improperly or poorly.

That is true, but you have to consider that any OS update and new OS completely will render them useless. :-/

Its scary how one day you could be using them fine and the next you could not.

On a note, its now impossible to download the last update patch for V1, Yamaha doesn't host that file anymore, the one that fixes Kaito's 1.1 engine problem with 1.0 Vocaloid engines. that means unless someone is hosting it on the net, the only way to get the latest engine version is via the Cryuptonloids, because Crypton updated their packages to include it ages ago.

I love all the Engloids but I would have to say that my top three favorites are Sweet Ann, Tonio, and Lola
