Hello, VO.net.

I've been having a bit of trouble...I only have female voicebanks (except Mathieu Rosaire) and I'm sort of getting tired of using the same voicebanks over and over.
I've checked the UTAU wiki for other male voices, but...(well, going through all of them is rather tedious)

Do you have any suggestions on who you think is a good male UTAU? He must have clear recording (meaning no static...) and cannot be encoded in Kana (my computer can't read them).

Thank you
-Sekai

Kenji Baionoto is awesome, especially his VCVs. ^__^ Hayao Misakura is really good too, I think he's got sound files in both kana and romaji?

I recommend Deon, Ron Keine (I have posted him converted in romaji somewhere here) and Yue Nagareboshi; I recommend Tony Yonne Lite, who is in romaji, as well.

Thanks for suggesting Hayao, Chase!
If you cannot take kana encoded AT ALL, however, I'm willing to pass you his ACT3.
c: His flags are g+8BRE10H10 to g+15BRE10H10 ^^ The deepness of his voice is up to you, but g- flag Hayao or no flag Hayao is his Shota, HAYAOI ^^

Thanks for suggesting Kenji! ^^
Also, as much as WAVEloid does bother me at times, I am seriously waiting for Helio Hikari to be released. He's a good voicebank, he really is, but claiming WAVEloid is better than UTAU and VOCALOID is just... a bit much.
Also, I'd like to suggest usage of Tony Yonne and Aido Feirune. They are wonderful voice banks, in quality and sound.
Contact me via. PM, e-mail (lupinakaflashth@aol.com), or Skype (kenji_baionoto) if you're interested in buying a graphics card off of me... =3=; Needing the money to buy Image-Line's Morphine plugin so I can finish a bunch of songs I started writing.
---
I'm the voice and designer of Kenji Baionoto (倍音音ケンジ), the flagship of my Crossloid series of voice banks for UTAU.
Currently in ACT 2 Open BETA.
---
I write original songs (singing any lyrics myself or using VOCALOID or UTAU) and produce videos under the handle "nostraightanswer (Kenji-B)".
---
I also cover various VOCALOID and UTAU songs (and sing original songs) under the handle "Kenji-B". My debut as an original song vocalist was with Circus-P's "Covert Downpour".

There's a topic we discussed about having WAVEloid is better than VOCALOID and I admit that its a bit there but not too much. Well, at least I've done the voicebank now. I know that I can't beat Miku-chan.

I have a few suggestions.

1) masterchichan has a romaji version of Kenta, if you ask him.

2) Kazune Yoshi was recently given romaji capabilities [I think. give it a try anyway]. Here is the website.

3) Marc Torres, a male UTAU made by Yesi-chan, is in romaji, found on this site.

4) There's this cute little UTAU called "SPIKE" who also works with romaji. Found here.

They're all male voices, and they all work best at different pitches.

Chichan's computer is wonky right now (thus, making a bit impossible to ask him for a romaji VB), so, I gave a mirror link to romaji Kenta instead.

AND OMG IT'S TRUE, YOSHI~ I need to make him sing something D:

If you need sample, I can provide it.
Just drop him an octave and add g+12H20Y0 and he is good to go : >
