Eh. In all honesty the books were decent. Cept the sparkling fairyness... >>

The movies though...

D-D-D'awwww. I thought this a question about what Twilight was and if my assumption was correct I was gonna say it's a story about an emo girl and a fairy. :c This disappoints me so.
Also, if you haven't caught on by now I dislike Twilight and all it's scintillating glory.

Yay, fellow haters of Twilight! I, personally hate two things: It's characters and ESPECIALLY it's pairings. "Team Edward!" "Team Jacob!" "Team Jacob/Bella~!" "Team Edward/Bella~!" It. Drives. Me. Insane. There was even a BK commercial selling Twilight toys as well as two elderly women, one liking Edward the Sparkly Pixie Vampire while the other liked Jacob the He-Man Chihuahua. Like I said, DRIVES ME MAD!

Well, considering everyone and their mother starting reading it, I was like 'oh vats this?'
But even based on the summary it was definitely not my cup of tea (hate romance, hate vampires). Anyway I decided to give the first book a shot at least because I may be pleasantlu surprised.
I WAs WRONG
Couldn't make it past the first few chapters.
I heard one of them (the 3rd or 4th?) is batshit insane, with Bella getting pregnant and the baby like breaking all her bones and Edward preforming a c-section with his teeth so I kinda want to read that for the lulz.

... I've read the books and watched the movies... As far as I'm concerned they're both fairly good. Nothing beats Harry Potter though.

I don't hate it, but I think that if Stephenie Meyer had spent more time (years) developing her characters and her plot that the series would be a lot more polished. Remembering reading each book I could never help feeling like there was something "missing". But I think the author herself said that they're brain candy. Something along those lines. I think though that people would respect her more if she would learn to laugh at herself, and realize that even though it's her "baby" so to speak, it's far from perfect, and there are laughable elements about it (as there are about nearly everything).
