this is a theroy that might intrest you pokemon fans out there if you ahvent all reayd heard of it,basicly its about the accident with the bike in the first few episodes of the show put Ash in a coma. Days later he was found and was hurried to the hospital and treated with heavy medications.

This makes so much sense, considering it's a series about fighting little monsters where the majority are cute but grow up to be big and ferocious |D
