When you look at (ITEM COMMONLY ASSOCIATED WITH CHARACTER) and you think of (CHARACTER).

Can we please stop posting variations of this, now?

Anyway:

When your friend borrows your MP3 player, and they comment on all the "weird Chinese music" you have.
When the names of all your favorite artists end in "P".
When you can read the sentence "GigaP covered Unhappy Refrain with Rin Act1 and Len Power" and it makes total sense.

I'm not saying it's an invalid example or anything, since it's probably happened to most of us at some point. (Heck, I even bought a leek one time just because I wanted to know why Miku likes them so much.) It's just that it's tiring for me to see the same basic thing repeated over and over, and it also feels like a waste of this thread's potential.

Every time I hear a song I like on the radio, I immediately think about how a it would sound with a Vocaloid covering it.

Don't deny it. We've all done this before.

Besides the leeks and the roadroller, every time I see the number 39 I now think of Miku, and for some reason that number has been popping up more often around me. Last forth of July when we watched fireworks, I kept playing Len's Fire Flower through my head, and it kinda made watching them better. And whenever I hear a digitized voice, such as Fi from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, I would wish that it should be for a new Vocaloid. Did you hear that Nintendo? I want a Fi-loid.

There's two places named Len's Mill and Big Al's Aquarium near me and well... I'm sure you can guess.

When you try to make lyrics for Vocaloid songs in your own language, and try to fit it in.

When you think how would people react if famous bands covered Vocaloid songs in concerts.

When you see 'Rin' you instantly think of Kagamine Rin, although it's a very common name in Japan...

When you're playing video games and wonder how would a Vocaloid fit as a character in the game.

"That's why Youtube is the largest entertainment site.
Not only the videos are a form of entertainment, but also the comments have their own genre.
There's drama, comedy, horror, suspense, thriller, zombie (comments that are just plain brainless), action, and even motivational (ones that provoke you to do something, punching babies included)"

If you're in class and your teacher starts about Sankinkoutai and you immediately think of Gakupo's song.
When MUSCLE BODY starts playing in your head every time you work out.
When one of the BENZENE-songs start playing in your head when you don't know what to do in a test (nitrobenzene starts playing in my head. Quite often)
Whenever you see a girl/woman who's painted their hair teal, you think of Miku yes, I mean you Park Bom
Whenever you see chesticles, you start humming Boobs are a man's romance.
When you're listening to techno, trance or dubstep and you think: "(insert name of Vocaloid) would fit this song perfectly"

I could go on and on.

When i was doing my english test and the text was about hansel and gretel and the song Okizari Tsukiyosyou (Abandoned on A Moonlight Night) popped in my head. I read the text while pretty much imagining len and rin, thankfully this actually helped me solve the questions XD

All of this. Japanese Vocaloids do well in my other native tongue actually, since Japanese is uhh... syllabic like Filipino.

Akikoroid-chan's Nikuman plays in my head whenever I see meat buns.

When you're doing schoolwork, and you accidentally type "Vocaloid" instead of "Vocabulary" because your fingers are used to typing "Vocaloid" when you start with "Voca-" (more likely if you type fast).

Nearly happened to me twice already today (except I managed to catch myself both times at "Vocaloi"), and I nearly did it again giving this example. xD

When you and your friends go to an otaku shop in London and all your friends go for the Gundam figurines and you go straight for the Luka plushie... >.< which my wife wouldn't let me have

When leeks drive me to dance in a farm-shop

When blonde, brown and black hair are no longer interesting
