It would seem that V3 is compatible with V2. Both Crypton Future Media and Internet Co. have said converting their V2 Vocaloids to V3 will be doable and free of charge.

Will the same be true of our two beloved Engloid companies? Will the current crop of English V2s be able to convert so you can use them in V3, and if so, will this conversion cost money or will it be free of charge?

(I can't quite remember if I've asked this already. If I have, please forgive me and take care of this post as you see fit. Thank you.)

They did show a small demo of Sweet Ann singing at the V3 showing in the V3 system didn't they?
One day I shall have an amazing signature. This is not the day.

I thought they did, but than again Kaito and Meiko had Vocalistener demos, and now we find out that is being exclusively used with V3, and V3 is not compatible with V1. So...I just thought I'd ask.

I missed the demo, anyone got a link to it?
Youtube poster 1; what does the [/] do?

Youtube poster 2; I'm guessing that it breaks the word in half.

It was part of the live show. As far as I know, all V2 loids will be able to be imported into V3.

Oh, cool! Can you tell us if the Engloids will be able to be converted for free or if there will be a price?

Sorry, I don't know at the moment.
Although my guess is that if there's going to be a fee it would be minimal.

I figured, but I thought I'd ask just in case. Thanks for answering both questions. You're a peach.
