I have a problem with Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. I downloaded the game and the english patch but when I try to play it a message pops up saying "This requires SWR v1.06, please patch to that version", but I already have this version.

Help please

I might as well add, some of the links here already have saved data on them.
For example in this version of SWR, all the stories are beaten for you and any can be chosen from the start.

Also, in IN, choosing individual characters is available from the download. While this is a feature you usually unlock yourself.

As far as I can tell the torrent I used has clean-slates through and through.

When I try to install the patch it's all in gibberish, can someone talk me through it?

The patch is going to be gibberish because it isn't in english in the first place. Try to click some buttons until it you'll see a menu of you're folders pop up. Go to the folder where SWR is, and find what might be the 'Okay button'. You'll see the loading screen and the after it loads the patch is finished.

I've done that but it keeps saying the same thing, but it then loads up the main menu and when I start a fight it crashes after a few seconds DX

You might be clicking the wrong thing, but here's an alternate download for you. SWR and Soku pre-patched [Click Here to Download]

SWR is inside the Touhou 12.3 Hisoutensoku folder. It's already patch so you just need to click on the application to start it.

I downloaded the 1-5 games, but I'm having some trouble getting them to work. I went through the readme files, but those aren't really helping -_- they tell me to use the .fdi files, but there aren't any. All I have are the .hdi files and when I try to use those, all I get is a black screen.
