To be honest, since I pretty much ignore what genre I listen to when it comes to music, I can't really put a vote in the poll, because I would be voting for practically every single genre. 8bit, I'm fine. As long as the songs I listen to are nice to my dear ears, I'm alright.

The only genre that I downright feel like chucking into a fireplace is K-Pop because

1. Some of the fangirls have are really, ergh, they can't accept haters' opinion on Kpop. They only want newspapers to print good stuff and shit like that. Example? When an article in our local newspaper reported something that is mean about Shinee's concert, some fangirls started liking the newspaper's facebook page, flamed them, said comments about the reporter like "walao fuck fuck fuck [insert huge bunch of vulgarities here]", "hope she gets fired from her reporter job la!" and shit like that. I'm perfectly fine with anybody's opinion of music, I'm fine if they hate Vocaloid, but this is going overboard, really. Oh and btw, the reporter had less than 5 hours to do that article because the article was published a day after the concert and the concert ended at 10-11pm.

And have I mentioned that the above mentioned fangirls are actually a few years my senior?

2. Fangirls, really, they are very very annoying on Facebook and anywhere. One of my classmate who sits next to me literally gropes my arm whenever she sees a picture of one of her Kpop idol. And so far, I don't think she thinks it's annoying.

3. I overlistened it to the extent where I seriously feel like throwing my cellphone out of the window whenever it plays a Kpop song. I used to love Kpop like my fangirl friends, but overlistened, and got irritated.

4. I really can't find a song that I really love, seriously. The Kpop songs I used to love are from the less popular Kpop bands, like Epik High, no Shinee, Big Bang or 2NE1. I don't like any of their songs.

not enough choices up there :/ my vote makes it look like i only listen to mainstream and japanese music.

if im singing: i mainly sing generally cheery, upbeat songs. ill sing a ballad or a dark song if im sad or upset

if im dancing: i only dance to upbeat songs. no exceptions.

i also like easy listening, 80s and 90s, and alot of non-mainstream stuff (its not that i hate mainstream because i love it but lately its all been absolute cat litter)

pop and foreign pop should not be under the same option IMO. i hate american pop but enjoy k-pop, j-pop and the like. nor should reggae and R&B (i like reggae, not so much R&B ), nor jazz and funk (like jazz, not so much funk), not sure broadway

I prefer Rock and Alternative (like Punk, Hardcore (Hardcore punk that is), Metal, Emo, and Goth.)
I also like Rap, Trance, Dubstep, Anime music, J-music, video game music, Reggae, and R&B. I like most anything except Country/Bluegrass. I hate that kind of music.

I've always classified myself as someone who loves independent works where vocaloid composers are one of the best representations, mainstream songs these days are just disappointing.
