This little idea spurred on a few monthes ago, actually. I was listening to Five Minutes by GUMI, and realized how childish the melody was. I came up with my own melody and lyrics for a song for Yuki Kaai, though I sadly do not have her. If I ever had a chance however, I would make this song...

Title: Finger Painting
Singer: Yuki Kaai, Hiyama Kiyoteru (Brief Cameo)

Another day comes, time to get out of bed
And change into my favorite dress
Perfect day to run outside in the yard
Of green grass

I want to go to school
And paint the best picture
Of today's shining sun
And of the smiling clouds

But frowning clouds are coming
And begin to make the blue sky fade
That's alright!
I'll brighten it with the painting I'll make

Placing my finger in watery paint
I'll paint the sky blue again!
And the flowers will bloom
All around until the clouds go away!

As I look outside the window
The frowning clouds are crying now
Even if they are sad
I will make them happy!

Sensei comes by and sees the work
I have put into making this beautiful piece
"Perhaps you could add something else
To give it a little more..."

I'm not sure what he means by that
But I'll try to do it
So let's see what is left
To add to my painting?

Placing my finger in watery paint
I'll paint the grass green today!
I'm not sure what Sensei wants me to add
But I'll add more anyway!

Suddenly, the clouds stopped crying
And began to blow away
Leaving behind a rainbow
Flying over the sky

Placing my finger in watery paint
I could see the clouds floating together
And that's when I realized what
I had missed the whole time!

Placing my finger in watery paint
I'll paint the picture of love!
Of frowning clouds and smiling clouds
Playing over the rainbow!

So do you have a melody in mind? WIll it be localized into Japanese? The English vocaloids...I hate them. Maybe you could find a vocalist on YT to do a cover once you have a song ready.

I'm not exactly sure what I'll do with it at this point. I'd like to make a song into it, but I don't have Vocaloid yet, if possibly ever. And even if I did, I do not know a single bit of actual Japanese that I could use to make it. If I can't find a way around that, then I'll probably just have to make a 'fandub' of sorts of on YT.

But really, at this point, I have no clue. I have no equipment whatsoever to actually record or make anything.

Well, from what I've seen, Yuki is pretty good at English compared to some vocaloids, so as long as the songs lyrics are with the song it shouldn't be a problem..
