I love this song ever since I heard it on the EXIT TUNES album. Coupled with that image (which is quite scary yet cool), it's a good PV.
I began guessing things with my friend, as GUMI's song involved a suicide, and Miku's involved death, and those silhouettes. It involved just looking at previous songs and their translations, and staring at the PV for this.

Miku's 'Nun and Idol Girl' mentioned it was a city where it was a sort of dead-end for the future where she was. And since that spinning sort of city is in all three PV's, sorta, I assume they're all in the same city. Dr. Realist brings people here where there's nothing left for them in life and they seem to sin, maybe.

I also saw the one winged angel in that PV, so maybe it is a dead end. You're a fallen angel, never able to ascend back to being one, nor become a normal person.

Look at my imagination run wild.

Hm, I'm getting a real huckster vibe from this, though the translation Alysoun gave seems to suggest the opposite. Perhaps it's a kind of satire from the character's point of view. By singing a song similar in style to a carnival barker, he's making a mockery of the situation in the delusional city? A "Come one, come all! See the terrible ruin humanity has created for itself! Isn't it just lovely?" kind of a deal.

Whatever the case may be, I like the song.

Mm...I'm always so behind. cosMo seems to have a couple of series going, but it's hard to keep track. Still, I liked this entry, so maybe I'll check out Gumi's and Miku's.

I always took the 'realist' part of his name literary: he sees things realistically and sets peoples' views as it should. For the Lost Girl and Runaway Boy one

I think he somehow indirectly convinces GUMI that her friend really did die which lead her to kill herself. Since before that, she believed that her friend 'ran away' because the shock of his death was too much to take in.

Not so sure about the Nun/Idol one, though. He did convince Miku to live the 'idol' life and therefore straying from her nunnery.


But this from a person who only read the translations of Lost Girl and Nun and Idol songs in this 'series'.

@Cluemily: I believe that one-winged angel you're talking about is the girl from Fantastic Garden and her Feather Pen. I think she also shows up briefly in Runaway Boy and Lost Girl? Woah I guess she continues to be relevant.

Anyways yesterday cosMo had the titles and links to the first two songs in the series, followed by what I assume is next: 童心少女と大人世界(動画制作中). Something like "Naive Girl and the World of Giants (In the process of making a video)" So that's cool.

He also changed the name of the series from 街＜ステラ＞ "Town of Stella" to 少女の幻想劇場 roughly "Girl's Fantasy Place"

I see a few comments in the Nico upload pointing out some connections to Sound Horizon (specifically Gakupo, Luka and Rin as Thanatos, Mu and Phi) which I don't blame them. ANTI THE HOLiC talking about Gods who manipulate fate? cosMo gives me bad SH vibes all the time now. Not that's he's copying them directly, but both of them have some crazy convoluted stories with callbacks to earlier songs - and little hidden details of future ones. Such as... Realist's spiffy monocled star even shows up in Capsule.

Now I really want to get a translation for some of the other songs in Fantastic Garden. I'm not doing it this time - Realist gave me migraines.

Aaah 5 hours late to post the video.

It's a nice sub but there are some parts that could be translated differently. There's quite a few so I'll edit this and post them up tomorrow. >.<
