Crypton felt Kaito's failure too much.
Still, CV04 can't be released too long before Vocaloid 3 comes out since its bound to be a Vocaloid 2. So once CV04 is out, we pretty know its only a matter of time before Vocaloid 3 shows itself. Therefore, watching out for CV04 is definately a good sign. If it gets an Append, its likely it will be Crypton's last release. Or one of the last, depending on project "what if...". Which we still don't know much about.
