Zeck smiled mischievously as he felt her force suddenly increase, "finally getting into this my love?" He said as he forced himself to the side to avoid her piercing attack, taking a of her arm as it passed by he then moved it aside touching her cheek once more before falling back, wanting to see how she reacted now that she was fully awake.
-the central village

Byron wasn't sure on how to response to the inari's threatening declaration, either he became the partner of this beautiful Inari, or he would be placing all the lives of these people in danger, and although he had a big hunch that that would not happen, it wasn't unheard that an angry god had destroyed entire cities in their rage.
"... well I guess it could be worse... you don't seem too bad either and you are very beautiful, but once I give you my word that would be it, we will become partners for life... " He thought on how many times his mother had urged him to find a girl but to think that moment would come to suddenly, it was surprising to say the least.
"First of all I believe introductions are in order, My name is Byron Cameron, a lonesome wondering exorcist, my mother is the Great Priestess Aesteria Cameron, alright then how about you?"
He wanted to get to know her better before giving his word, Byron was the type of man to never break his word.

Zusume understood what he meant though she had a very different idea on when things got too dangerous, if she was to decide the right way would be to scare off the demon king by beating him up, but that was easier said than done.
if that human girl wanted to talk to him, then as a helper of the village it was Zusume's duty to assure her safety through her visit.
which is exactly why she brought those two alone.
Uzuki and Kisagari, Uzuki holding the ability to tell lies would come in handy when dealing with sly and crafty individuals such as the demon lord, and Kisagari, although strong enough to match even her, held the ability to uphold time encapsulating herself and the enemy on a close subspace where time transferred as she pleased, in a bad case this could be use to get away from them.
"Understood, well then, should we go meet them?, if we let those things get near the village it will not end up pretty, besides... even though I wish for this to be peacefully fulfilled, I still long to see your skills in combat... un... you might call be Gizensha, I'm the second eldest Inari daughter under my father, the fox god. and your name is.. I already know Mameha... but I believe this is the first time we've meet."
she asked and presented herself, curious to know a little more about this human, though something on him seemed off, almost as if he wasn't entirely human, but that only made her more interested.

Once the troop got within 100 feet of the Demon King's front line, he took it upon himself to dismount and stride forward. Well well well... what lovely additions these girls will make... He pulled off his hat and bowed in faux-courteous fashion, in fact mocking Mameha and her entourage. "Well, and who here is being so kind as to greet their new master?"
Mameha stepped forward, her face determined as she summoned up all of her courage. "I am Mameha, leader of this village. I respectfully request you take y-" She was stopped short by Ran who got between her and Dief, who was advancing with great rapidity.
While Ran had Dief just barely held off with a series of stalemate sword locks he called out, "Get out of here! Hime-dono! Mameha-sama!" With each moment Mameha hesitated Ran's defense against the seemingly endless strength of the Demon King began to falter.

Zusume had walked ahead with the group until they meet up with the Demon king and his party, 'so it was really the demon lord's doing...' she thought after taking a look at his ammenaus presence, his army behind him only holding off because he was speaking to Mameha,
her ear twitched a little hearing something move behind the trees, and alarmed as she thought they where being surrounded she turned around, she tried to warn the girl to fall back, but Ran had already walked forward and was clashing swords with the demon king, just seeing him do that without a second's hesitation made something stir in her chest, not knowing how to react she just did as he had instructed, she grabbed Mameha's arm and started to run away from the place, looking back and shouting at her helpers,
"Kisaragi, you help go help Ran-dono, Uzuki, you follow me and be alert on the trees around us, look for a possible ambush."
-

"Alright lady Gizensha" the little fox girl joyfully replied running up ahead and going through the trees and thickets as they tried to get away from the enemy.

"..." Kisagari understood her orders and was not afraid of using all of her might, but to see the demon lord this close.
"it's weird... to see him here... what is he searching for." she wondered opening her her scarlet umbrella, ready to fight.
"Sir, please take care of the demon lord... I will take care of his forces." She said jumping high pass the demon lord and diving into a mass of thousands of demonic soldiers a bunch of them just brusting out like water raises when a droplet falls into a lake, a bright orange fire already visible as she continued to fight off waves of the minions.
What she truly wanted was for Ran to scape, with him there she couldn't use her skill... not without his permission at least, an odd skill which freeze time, everywhere but inside a designated area by her, making it the ultimate arena, once in there they would not retreat until all the enemies had either died or at least rest defeated on the ground, there was infarct a very simple way out of this, which is exactly why she would want to leave the demon lord off of it at all possible.

Mai leaned forward to bite him just as he pulled away and it gave her enough room to rip off the remaining chains. Her body was under so much fatigue she was shaking and yet she had not faultered. Hopping up onto the cross she was leaning on she pulled losely at the chain around her neck. "Risking your life on something like this, stupid, such a stupid man. Oh well, your blood will make such a pretty polish for my claws!" She yelled as she ripped the chain off her neck and lunged towards him slashing down fiercly with her right hand to cut scross his body. This motion would be followed up by her spinning her body and slashing across towards his throat.
Ai had come a long way from home and found herself standing at the gates to a human village. She froze in place as she stared up to it though, she knew they would treat her as a demon even though she was far from demonic as a person. Sighing she looked around and shut her eyes. She was standing in the forest a little ways from the main path through but she was close enough to be seen if someone looked out into the trees. "Isolde... where are you... I can't trace you at all." She muttered to herself before swallowing her fear and walking towards the gate to the village, not knowing what was truely happening.

After one of many lock-ups broke, Ran attempted to get the reason why the Demon King was there but he made no reply beyond laughter. Believing the ladies beyond sight, Ran let out a loud howl before being knocked to the ground. Just as Dief was about to deliver the mortal blow a group of wolves sprung upon the Demon King and though they were handily thrown off it gave Ran time to get back up and reassemble.
Dief stepped back, and looked over the battered and beaten Ran with a smug expression though the rips in his coat greatly irritated the Demon King. "A wolf God in my midst? I didn't even know you existed. Weak little thing you are. Must be the runt of heaven." Ran didn't bother to correct him, only commanding he leave. Dief turned for a moment, looking at what the fox girls were doing to the unit he brought with him. Hmmmm... perhaps he ought to pull back for now and send someone else in there to procure his mirror... "Very well then, dog-man. Go back and lick your wounds. I'll get what I want." He then remounted his tiger and began to ride back to his camp, laughing haughtily the whole way.
Ran stumbled back and sat on the ground, releasing a huge sigh of relief. A few more minutes of that and he'd have been toast. The wolves all approached him, nuzzling and licking his injuries before he sent them a way with a pat on the head. I hope Mameha-sama and Hime-dono are all right... and Hime-dono's foxes...

Kisagari was viciously fighting against the demon king's forces alot of thought looking grunts and a few strange ones within the bunch, some of them had started to retreat while others stayed keeping her busy.
seeing this Kisagari thought,
"Ran most be done with his fight... no real way I could expect that stranger to match the demon king in might, but if hes already out of the way... then.."
saying that as she delivered a potent kick to a fighter's stomach she took in a deep breath, and opening her umbrella the jumped high abode the lot of people still retaining the air in her cheeks,
as she stopped ascending as slowly let out the air, whispering something strange and the wind of her whispers became a band of glowing magical waves, which quickly circled around a group of the large fighting force, encapsulating them inside and in a fraction of a second, it was all over.

After that little scene the area which was domed in the magic spell became dusty and as the magic vanished and the dust settled the only thing that could be seen was the bodies of defeated soldiers laying on the ground, about seventy in number both large and small, not all of the ones inside the area where defeated and one of these was a beautiful Inari on a semitranparent robe, who was standing unharmed over a pile of the soldiers, and an injured Kisagari at her feet.
"As I said, it's not valor, just idiocy, now you stand defeated little one."

"Y..you... why.. why are helping the demon king..." She managed to say before she lost consciousness, her small body filled with light cuts and fine stabs skill, and although she had done well defeating a large number of minions, she wasn't expecting such a foe to had form alliance with the demon king.
Zeck studied his beautiful prey and though her movements had greatly improved from her first display of strength, it was bleatenly obvious she was extremely tired from his last spell,
He smiled, grinning lightly as he dodged the first attack quickly summoning his wand to deflect the attack to his throat.
"I see nothing more worthy to risk my life over, but to acquire the woman I love." he replied to her statement before retaliating with one of his own spells to soft her up just a little more.
"Rock spears." He exclaimed raising up his hand as a magic circle once again formed around its jewel, making about ten pointy rock spears shoot from the ground, aiming at a few of her non vital spots.
It wasn't a terribly quick attack but she would have to move quickly to dodge or stop all of the rocks.

"under normal circumstances I would cut your tongue and feed it to the haunts for such an imprudence, however this girl holds no value for me or my kind, you can have her..." She said turning around, her hair and long tail almost glowing under the sun light as they displayed the girl's rich blonde color.
Saying nothing more Tensen left the fox girl laying on the floor and walked away, if that demi-human wanted to try his luck his destiny would be no better than that kitsune.

"Master Ran and your friends... are they all right?" There wasn't any more noise coming from there now, Mameha resisting the urge to investigate. She was grateful to the demi-goddess and her companions for aiding but did not wish to be the cause of not only the foxes' deaths but also Ran's.

"They will be alright, Uzuki is really speedy which Is why I sent her to scout ahead... I guess she should still be surveying the town's surroundings now that we are at a safer place, as for Kisageri... she should be fire with her special ability and power... and even if she where to somehow die in combat, she's but a phantom inside a body, I would just find a new host for her... who worries me in Ran-dono... to do something so reckless... I wonder if hes always like this."
She said being concerned for Ran's safety and also being agrevated by the fact someone had protect her, her, the one supposed to be the defender of the village, ut was a big humiliation for her, yet... somehow, she was happy.

Kisagari's body was injured, but more so than injured, tired, limped and unable to talk or even open her eyes, she couldn't walk, much less heal her wounds, the pain through out her body confusing her senses to the point she could not feel Ran's hands and they hold her, nor his tongue as it treated her injuries.
"nn... Aau.." She growled in pain feeling a strong pain in her abdomen, the place where that Inari had hit her at the start of their fight.

"my betrothed..." he thought for a second having seconds thought on accepting the inari as his partner in life, yet he smiled at her trying to reply with something nice, but before he could even open his mouth the lady started trying to tempt him with her body to which he answered a little off put by her sudden acts, yet still showing a signs of the pure innocent young man he truly was.
"Well yes I find you suitable, but why the rush? couldn't we take sometime to get to that..." he tried to explain thinking it was a little too soon to be talking about bearing offspring on the spot, thankfully enough the people around them where confusing them with a couple and had decided to ignore what was going on, nobody really paying attention to their conversation.

The sadness in Ran's face as he held the small vixen to his chest was heart felt and genuine. He didn't know what else he could do for her. When he finally stood before Gizensha and Mameha, he hesistated to speak. His own injuries were not important to him no matter how numerous they may have been... He'd do anything to save the little fox girl in his arms. "Hime-dono... Mameha-sama... Please forgive me. I don't know... what else I can do for her."
