What was that one game that freaked you out,

when you were a kid or just recently. I would like to know why as well. [:

I know one of the first games to freak me out was Fatal Frame 1&2

the second one was way more better than the first.

and just recently was Dead Space 2

that game was just great and the music added to the suspense was one of the few

games to scare me. lol.

I guess Doom 3 did provide me some scares, mostly those stupid imps crawling out from the walls or the roof.
I did see alot of Dead Space 2 gameplay, and that game is just filled with Jump scares and gore everywhere.

I can never forget my first experience with a horror game, Silent Hill 1 on the Playstation, in broad daylight with my evil cousins who urged me to play it.

especially the school part, gave me nightmares for a week, though partly from that experience, I end up loving horror movies.

And yes, I do watch them late night, in the dark, by myself.

When I was a kid, I was afraid of...
Detective Barbie in the Mystery of the Carnival Caper
smth like like... or maybe it was smth else. it's a detective barbie game

- Carnivals, lively or abandoned or whatever, just creep me out.
- The suspect looked scary to me when I was a child. Hat + Coat + All in Black thing
- THE WAY HE PASSES BY YOUR SCREEN UNEXPECTEDLY LIKE A SHADOW OR GHOST. LIKE HOLY SHET MAN

This is why Daddy taught me how to play Counter Strike, Call of Duty, GTA, and other games where I get to kill people or make things explode.

As a kid, I can honestly say I was scared crapless of Resident Evil 3. Nemesis never failed to give me a heart attack, no matter how many times I played it.

Even if the graphics are kind of laughable to us now. -cough-
I believe in make-believe
fairy tales and lucky charms, and
I believe in promises
spoken as you cross your heart.

I believe in skies forever blue,
why shouldn't I believe the same in you?

I was about fourteen when my brother downloaded the demo for the very first FEAR came. Yeah, the first FEAR game is probably one of the most scariest games I've ever seen.

It's funny how four years later, I was playiing the first FEAR game in the dark with my best friend there, recording me on her iPhone. Ughhh.

Recently, though, on the side, I have to say that "Nightmare House 2" is one of the truly scariest games I've ever seen over FEAR. I've only seen a playthrough. But, I'm telling you, it really scared me just watching.

I can't wait to play it by myself, in the dark, and recording me reaction. XDDD

Ah yes, Nightmare House 2, to be honest I love the horror genre after playing Silent Hill, Resident Evil isn't even scary to me, and I only played Nemesis a mere months after Silent Hill, they're just.....no longer scary anymore, I surprised even my cousins, who didn't quite get the reaction from me they expected.

Yeah fuck horror survival games, I wouldn't be able to last two minutes on those

Game that scared me the most as a kid:

Legend of Zelda OoT

Yep. Basically 80% of that game creeped me out. I pretty much always tried to make it daytime because I couldn't stand riding around Hyrule at night and suddenly OH MY GODS MONSTER POPS OUT WHAT DO I DO I DO LKASF|F

Scariest part was that graveyard part. Holy shit man.

>Fall into the grave

>SUDDENLY REDEAD JUMPS ON YOU SCREAMING

>scream like banshee and throw the controller

>play again 10 years later

>get to the redead part

>scream like a banshee and throw the controller

Then again, this is coming from me, who STILL can't play Twilight Princess because those fucking trumpet birds scare the piss out of me.

Fucking Amnesia. I played through most of Justine but Malo killed me. And the main game I refuse to go farther than the water part.

Amusingly enough, it was Portal 2 DLC.

I was all 'Lalala~ This is easy~!' Then BAM!
This crusher missed me by inches and I threw the controller behind me and screamed.

I played Bioshock 1/2, Amnesia and Dead Island around then to, and they didn't do nothing but flinching and cowering in my room.
Portal 2's DLC scared me the most...somehow.
