I've been playing around with Prima (on Vocaloid 2 as I don't have V3 yet) and I made a derivative singer with a voice configuration that I really like, but when she sings, sometimes it will sound like someone was spitting on the microphone at random times and the long drawn out notes are HORRIBLE.

I wondered if this is because I'm using a low-grade computer or because of the voicebank? Will it go away if I use the program on a computer with a better processor and bigger RAM?? If not, is there a way to edit these disturbing noises out?? Does Vocaloid 3 fix this??

Sonika fans, where u @?? You of all people should know how to fix glitches!!

ps.- this computer has all the minimum requirements. AND I AM NOT USING POCALOID, IT'S THE REAL VOCALOID. Although I haven't activated it yet because you only get 3 activations and I want to save them if possible. Especially cuz I'm getting a better computer soon.

I have both Sonika and Prima

face those issues too

^ This should explain everything you might need

Also, I've asked Zero-G and they let me activate it on my laptop more than 3 times for Sonika.

If you ever get past 3 activations for reinstalling your computer or new one. Just send a email to Zero-G

Another thing is to make sure you render track!

I have Yuzuki Yukari Icons!

idk about Prima as I don't own her, but SONiKA's VB is totally riddled with bugs and glitches. The SONiKA tutorial that Zeralyph posted will certainly help with a lot of it. The plucks and other very irritating sounds are just part of the recordings so there's no real way to get rid of them other than to use a different phoneme when you hear a glitch.

And based on what you described, I don't think its the processor. if it was the processor, rather than plucks, you'd hear absurd cracking and screeching. But just to make sure, do what Zeralyph said and render the track first. If the noise goes away after you render the track, then it is indeed your processor. (But since you're getting a better computer soon and the one you already have meets the minimum requirements, I'd say that this is a bit of a moot point)

Does it sound like static? Some of her recordings picked up her voice pushing air into the microphone, distorting some of the recordings. If it's a random crack sound that's Vocaloid 2 messing up. To address the awful sounding drawn out notes. Some phonemes sound really bad when they're stretched too far and that can not be fixed, you can only try similar sounding phonemes and hope they work. As long as your computer meets the minimum specs required to run Vocaloid it should work fine. If anything you could try not running anything else in the background. Vocaloid 3 does not fix recording mistakes but slightly improves voice quality on imported banks. Also you can activate Vocaloid more than three times. You have to contact Zero-G and ask for more allowances (they never say no :)).
EDIT:
One way to edit out mistakes is to render multiples of the same track (not at the same time), cut out the bad parts and replace from the other tracks.

THANKS, everyloid!! I did render it: it's not the processor. *sigh*

I bought Prima cuz I thought she was the highest quality engloid! lol I'm too lazy for extensive editing.

That's genius!!! Why didn't I think of that?? Thank you.

EDIT: "Everyloid" was not on purpose. I meant everyloid. I might start saying everyloid from now on, tho.
