For the record, the subject of appends for either Lily or Gakupo doesn't appear to have come up. So far it just sounds like a straight upgrade, so we'll see how that goes. I think eventually they will get them, but it's just worth noting that hasn't been officially confirmed yet.

Not so. They said they were shooting for a 2012 Spring release for both Lily and Gakupo V3 upgrades. Even if it takes longer than they think, I'm expecting his upgrade out sometime next year with talk like that.

think about it. they have to be making multiple banks. thats a complete demo. if there was just one bank and it was only 20 percent complete how in the hell could they do a full song with it? let alone two demos? first off they don't just record raw data and throw it at the engine. they take the raw data and manipulate it edit the hell out of it and then throw it at the engine. one vb is almost done thats 20 percent... potentially to get to 100 percent wouldn't they need about 4 more banks?

Anyway, I hope that it is Internet Co that is making Lily V3, rather than Avex and Yamaha.

also the have said as soon as lily is done they will begin recording Gakupo Vs i am bugging the only person i can find related to the project and that so far is GACKT though he has not tweeted since the beginning of December. i have asked him twice now to suggest thatthe company record him in English.

the reason the sentence looks messed up is i have chrome set up for japanese to english translation. i really did type in good english form and then use translation and back translation to find wording that made sense in japanese.

It probably is too late to bug the company about lily and i can't find a direct point of contact for them other than their sales department. If i knew a way to contact the appropriate persons at the company i would still bug them about lily English.

Doesn't this mean there'll be a new outfit for her? God I hope KEI makes a good job out of it (taking V3 Megpoid as an example, Internet seem to like the original artist to design the upgrade). Although, I can't really see Lily's outfit getting any more skimpier than it is.

For me, it seems like Lily was just released yesterday and is already getting a new voicebank. Perhaps it's because I don't really notice her often. I feel like she's getting an update way too soon, despite the fact that it'll be three years since her first release (assuming that she'll be finished in 2012). Gumi, Rin and Len had almost the same span of time (if you don't count Act 1 for Rin and Len)

KEI does elegant, casual and sexy. But since this is a Vocaloid it has to be anything but casual. It should normally follow the same motif as the original so I would expect it to have the same sex appeal thing going on.

After listening to the sample several times, I've realized: Thank you so much for making Lily's voice nasal. It reminds me a lot of Yuri's voice... Only Lily's voice is still a bit high for my taste, though.
