KEI I would like you more if you didn't draw Lily inconsistently but generally with stick-thin limbs and sometimes a giant head

I mean, honestly! I've said it before I'll say it again if the back leg was in front then it probably wouldn't look so weird! I'm guessing that that was an error on KEI's part. When you're doing commission work....graaah *ye olde sigh*

I'll be completely honest, I actually prefer whatever the heck this is for(Promoting I assume and it's drawn by KEI) over her current artwork in her new boxart.


Both of his V3 Lily pieces have longer hair than every other piece he's drawn of Lily before(He's never been 'inconsistent' about the hair). I think the bang being too far to the left and too thin bothers me the most about the area around her face in regards to the V3 boxart in particular.

Also can someone add that picture I just posted in this post to the wikia since it's also drawn by KEI and I don't think it was added yet.

Her legs and arms are still a little funky in that image, but it's not as bad, imo.
All I saw on her legs was the right legs boot seems to be behind the left leg, then after the knee, it switches.
The cuff (?) on the boot didn't seem loose enough to catch behind the other, and if so, it'd be a little more wrinkled-looking.
Though it could be how the leg is positioned, as it's sort of rotated to the side.

But besides that and the left arm looking strange, I do prefer it between it and the V3 box art.
I am no artist, however.

IDK. I see nothing particularly wrong with the foreshortening. I think the reason you think the foreshortening sucks is because you know KEI did it.

@That picture Byakuren posted: Is she supposed to be bending over or something? If you think about it, that's really a terrible boxart picture. It completely obscures her outfit. Also, I never realized that there were two versions with different coloring of V2 Lily's illustration... I really like the one on the box ten times better than the one with KEI's signature coloring.

Oh I see the difference now. It's not the eyeliner/naisl or even hair (I think that was accidental), it's the wires around her leg. They have two plugs which were not there in the original Lily. Instead, they were on her waist by the CD.

I don't like her new boxart. I was trying to, and it's not as if I can't just pretend this boxart doesn't exist, but it just looks horrible to me. Even by KEI standards. I really like KEI's coloring, but not even the coloring on this made it any better for me. I never really liked his coloring on Lily all that much, anyway. :/ Her face looks round and cute... which just doesn't fit my image of her, her pose looks highly uncomfortable, and her hair just looks messy.


...I'll just pretend her boxart never changed. I am glad they didn't decide to redesign her, though. I like her design, though I think it's not something real people should wear, unless they're sure it'll stay on right. Lily's a character, so it's okay on her.

Her top appears to be different now to.
It used to split all the way up to the collar part. Now it seems to meet right under her breast line. ( Maybe it's because of the hair.
