Luka nodded, and sat down in a chair. What would Meiko want with her? The way she said it over the text made it seem serious. "Well, Len's gone. So that's good right? Or is that bad, did they have a fight? This is their apartment after all, it would make sense for both of them to be here. Wait, if they're living together, is she going to invite me here? Well, if she did, what would I do?" She continued on this train of thought for a while, before being snapped back to reality through her own thought. Part of Luka was releived to space out again, it was almost as if life was becoming normal, even though Luka knew that was far from the truth.

Meiko finished up in the kitchen, before walking into the living room and smiling at luka. "So, i bet your mad that i ran off this morning. Sorry about that. So, what do you want to do today.".

Luka mentally sighed deeply out of relief. Meiko just wants to hang out with her. "Well, kinda. A little dissapointed. But you're still mine for the day, you know that right?" Luka stood up and took Meiko's hand. "I think we should go out and about. No offense, but there's not much to do here." Excitement started to build inside Luka. "What do you say?"

Meiko nodded, she didnt mind what they did. Within reason though, she didnt want to have a repeat of yesterday. "Ok, where to?". She was dreading later, but she could at least hang out with luka first, try and keep her happy.

"Well..." Luka hadn't really thought of where they should go, she just wanted to move around. As so long as she was with Meiko, everything was fine. "...I'll figure that out later. Let's just go!" Luka dragged Meiko out of the house to show her impatience. She stopped outside the door to let Meiko lock up and gather her things. "Hmm...what is there to do in winter? You can't have a picnic or anything, the karaoke bar wasn't very sucessful last time...Oh!" Luka's eyes widened at the recollection of something. "How about we go ice skating? We might have a rink nearby, I'm not really sure." Luka's enthusiasm grew as she thought over the proposal.

Meiko locked up, then turned to luka in time to hear her request. "E-erm, o-ok.". She wasnt any good at ice skating, and didnt want to look like a fool infront of luka. Notif she could help it.

"Well then let's go!" Luka took Meiko's hand and walked her further into town. After a few minutes, Luka realized they were just wandering around town aimlessly. Embarassed, she ran into the closest store. After a minute, she came back out and took Meiko's hand again. "He said that the rink was..." Luka scratched her head before pointing down the street. "That way?" Confusion was obviously present in her voice, yet Luka seemed determined she was right. She walked down the street, still finding no ice rink.

Meiko got confused when luka wandereddown a road, and there still wasnt any ice rink. If she wanted directions, then she could of just asked. "Erm, luka, the ice rink is that way.". She pointed in the opposite direction they were heading in, and started to pull luka towards a large building with the words "ICE SKATING" on the side.

Luka blushed and followed Meiko. They were such big letters, how did she miss them? Reaching the ice rink, she rented two pairs of skates and gave Meiko one of them. "You know how to put these on right? It's like shoes, but they have to be on really tight..." Luka fussed around with her own skates before standing up, wobbling slightly. Luka offered her hand to Meiko. "Ready?"

Meiko stood up, before falling forwad, and dragging luka down. "Sorry, im no good at ice skating."

Luka was caught by suprise as she found herself tumbling down with Meiko. She giggled, and slowly tried to find a way to stand up. Still wobbling she extended her arm out to Meiko again, making sure to ready herself to fall, just in case. "It's fine, I'm not that great at it either. Won't get better if you don't practice though, right?"

Meiko looked nervously at the ice, then at luka. "Try ten years with no improvement what so ever.", She then took luka's hand, and stood up. She was dreading this, but she would find a way to get luka back later.[/color][/b]"

Luka frowned slightly, her previous enthusiasm dwindling. "Well, if this isn't any fun we don't have to do it, you know. But..." Luka skated across the ice slowly, making sure Meiko didn't fall. "Let's at least try to enjoy ourselves now!"

Meiko smiled at luka, hugging her arm tightly. "No, im happy, if your happy. I'll just get you back later. len will be gone till probably the early hours of tomorrow. So im going to be bored most of the day.". She kissed luka's cheek, then skated along, almost slipping a few times.

Luka smiled as Meiko grabbed her arm. Because of the cold air around them, Meiko seemed even warmer than she usually was. Luka glanced over at Meiko, captivated by her. Her hair was moving ever so slightly, and the sudden jerks she made as she attempted to regain her balance...were adorable. Luka was staring at Meiko long enough to mangage running into the wall of the rink. She blushed deeply as people glanced over towards her, and she tried to prevent herself from falling. She failed. She was soon laying on the ice, feeling even more embarrassed. She looked up at Meiko, who still looked beautiful. Glancing away awkwardly, her face still beet red, she attempted to get back on her feet. Unfortunately, she was too nervous to do much of anything. She pouted at Meiko expectantly.
