Hey VO! Sorry i've not been very active lately, but im here to ask a small favor!
I've been working on a drawing for some time now, and I want a little bit of critique on it!
This piece is for a regional art contest, and I want to create the best piece I possibly can for it, so I really need other peoples opinions on how to make things better! uwu/

holy crap that coloring.

critique you say? ok.
The left hand really needs a thumb. Looks kinda weird without even the beginning / ending of a thumb.
The legs are just fine but the feet looks just a bit broken, raising it up a bit would solve the problem. Also I would add more details to the wings to match the rest of the figure cause the human is really detailed. It's mismatching her. And a necklace to match her hair / dress roses.

Also, how do you plan doing to background? Cause if you're not too late it would be really nice making a really dark cloudy sky o3o!


I don't have much else to offer here, if you just keep doing it with love and effort I'm pretty sure you're going to win.

Hm, I came back to give a second look on this.
The eyes look a bit misplaced, I know your intention was for her to be looking down, but the way it is wirght now it's just looks like the eyes are misplaced lolo

in anycase, I fixed up the colours + drew some legs. I've been trying to draw a thumb to that hand, but every time I try, it makes her hand look like a potato lmaooo

It looks nice but the face seems a bit squished. (Then again anime faces tend to be that way) If it is for a regional competition then I would need to know more about what themes and styles they are looking for to give a decent critique. Though just from a regular persons point of view The coloring looks nice but the wing on her right looks a bit light compared to the one on her left. ( I also don't think though wings are anatomy correct either but it is a cartoon so whatever) I also think she just a pinch to much blush on her face. The roses on the dress by her hips are a nice touch. Also some feet and a background would like nice (But I am guessing you are doing that now)

Aye, yeah uwu
the competition isn't really that... there is no theme! Its basically draw what you want, with your own theme and own style, and the judges judge based on technique. uwu/

I'm gonna try to work on the colouring of the wings, since I know they're a bit underdeveloped. The one on her right is lighter because its closer to the light source, which would be our top left hand side. Ill work on her complexion, and yeah im doing the feet and stuff right now XD thank you!!
