well, jerrod just happens to appear after he's shot. Yet he didnt hit his head. So its nothing to do with the brain. or at least nothing to do with split personality.
edit: ok spoiler. wolf is jerrod. its all a rouse, but he blanks his mind as jerrod. so nailah thinks its a new person. he's finally going to do what he set out to do.
