Professor Knight (at UCSD) of Ayesha Mazumdar is creating a Miku documentary. She is looking for attendees of MikuNoPolis to interview (the concert in LA on July 2nd, for those who are unaware) perhaps in person if you live nearby, or via Skype for a live interview, or even perhaps with provided questionnaires. Or, if you don't have Skype, you can just video record yourself answering the questions.

Hi! I'm Ayesha, the one mentioned at the top. I would love it if anyone who attended the concert was up to do an interview : ) I'm finding out if people who watched the live-stream can participate as well. If you're interested, email me at ayeshaucsd@gmail.com thank you!!!

from FaceBook:

Hi! I'm trying to find people in either the so-cal area or in california in general who went to the 3D live event back in 2011 in LA. Let me know if you went! Thanks : )

Actually, change in plans. ...So, if anyone went to the LA concert, could you comment on this please? I'm helping a professor for a project and she'd like to interview people who went, whether it be in person or via skype/ taped interview : )

..."
just let me know and I'll talk to Professor Knight to find out when she'd like to do the interview : ) Also, if you know anyone else who went to the concert, we are having a hard time finding people, so if you could get the message out, that would be amazing. Thanks for participating!!"

Also, here's the link for the forum on FaceBook, if you have an account.
And again, contact Ayesha here!

Funny how I can form a thesis and support it in a well developed, 7+ paragraph essay about why x is better than y on here, but when it comes to school...

If only I would've went :(
I always thought that someone should make a documentary for vocaloid!

When this is finished, will it be available for the public to see? Or is this for private use only?

did you attend MikuNoPolis?

if you did, and you don't live in CA, you can still participate. All you need is a Skype account/videocamera.

...unless you were referring to the fact that it was only convenient for Californians to go to the concert, then oh. sorry.

Hai. I worked via Anime Expo's Main Events department and also worked the concert (though this was mostly making sure no one was doing anything funny in the crowds). I wouldn't mind being part of the interview. I'll be sure to shoot an email. ;3

Good news! Professor Knight has just confirmed that people who have watched the live streamed CAN participate in the interviewing!

They need as many people as they can get to participate, so don't hold back! Remember to contact Ayesha at the above email address. ;D
