Rin didn't show it, but she was getting madder and madder at the janitor. What was the point in telling everyone about her weapons? And did he really think she didn't know what she was doing with her weapons? She had survived with weapons hidden in her clothes since she was five, why wouldn't she now? Well, I guess I shouldn't complain... she thought. She would get to spend the day away from her parents after all. She put away the book, putting it in a corner of the table.

[Nova]

As the man came inside and pretty much berated everyone Alexis smiled at her friend Akiyo again. "I am Alexis...second daughter of death. And over there is my sister Aseleia, first daughter of death...but don't tell her I told you...she's sensitive about it." She patted her pig for a brief moment before returning to Akiyo "It will be our secret as friends." she said before returning to her seat. The Pig followed and sat down at the foot of her chair oinking every now and then lowly. "I wonder if she'll take it lightly..." Alexis murmured thinking about how Akiyo would react.


After what seemed like a few moments, the teacher at the front stood up and addressed the class finally. "Well, now that it appears everything is out of the way. Allow me to welcome you students to the new year! As I'm sure many of you know Insolorian High is not a normal school. We allow students of all sorts to join and we specialize in numerous things outside the realm of a typical education. I won't go too far into detail, but just about every day here will be a fight for you life~!" She paused for a moment to let that sink in before continuing "Now then, I've come up with a way for you all to get to know one another...it's called...SURPRISE DEATH COURSE!" the teacher's eyes turned manic and she clapped her hands immediately each chair gave way and everyone was dumped into what appeared to be an obstacle course.


"Ah...crap...this is great...who'd I get stuck with...?" Aleseia said while looking around She noticed Rin among all people and quickly helped her up. "Come on...we gotta get moving." She said in a slightly panicked tone. "It won't be long before they start hailing fire down on us from who knows where." She looked around for anyone else she may have gotten stuck with...hoping that none of them died prematurely...she could tell it was FAR from anyone's time to die in this place of all places.

[Sena]

"Daughters of...death" Akiyo sat there puzzled for a few moments. "I didn't even know Death had daughters!" Akiyo started smiling at Alexis, 'I'd love to meet Death one day, it sounds so goo-OH MY!' Akiyo's eyes popped open, "I COULD NOTE ABOUT HIM!" she seemed to shout out loud. She suddenly went red and scratched her head giving a faint smile, "Oh..er..sorry!" Akiyo soon became quiet as the teacher stood at the front of the class, she zipped up her bag and sat there gazing at the blue haired teacher, 'she's so pretty~'

It was around about the time the teacher said the words 'Surprise Death Course' that Akiyo swallowed and spluttered on her desk.
"SAY WHAT?! SHE'S INSAN-" Akiyo would have finished her sentance but it was drowned out by her chair giving way and falling through the floor.

She landed with a thud on cold icy ground.
"For someone so pretty, who'd of thought she was mentally INSANE!" Akiyo shouted, emphasising the word she before did not get to finish, she raised a fist and cursed at the ceiling. After she'd finished cursing she looked around, it seemed to be an obsticle course. Akiyo was quite a fit young girl but nothing could have prepared her for what she saw infront of her.
"Where's the exit?" She said in an emotionless tone, apparently turning serious.

[Nyx]

Rin looked at the girl who helped her, looking expressionless at her. "Fire...?" What did she mean, 'hailing fire'? She started walking, in a random direction. There wasn't much she could do from here, from what she could see. Not more than trying to stay alive. Well, she thought, it shouldn't be too hard...

[Nova]

Alexis appeared behind Akiyo, her pig still in tow. "Friend...come with me..." She said lightly walking forward. The minute she did a giant spiked pillar came flying towards her. Alexis didn't even move or show fear because in an instant the pillar was shattered by the pig of all things. "We will be safe so long as we stick together." she said taking her hand and walking along carefully "Friends must not be hurt." she murmured walking leisurely as the pig destroyed another spiked pillar.

Aleseia sighed at Rin's apparent lack of common sense. She quickly pulled her back as a small vat of Lava poured onto the spot she was just standing on. "Idiot, be careful, this entire place is booby trapped. You want to live longer we stick together and mind our surroundings. She pulled out a small gatling gun, putting the ammo around her waist. "I'll lead the front. You watch my back alright?"

[Nyx]

"Sure..." Rin said. As she saw the girl pull out a gun and some ammo she instinctively put her hand to her left side of the waist where her katana used to be, just to notice it wasn't. It was still in the classroom. She clenched her fists, slapping herself mentally for not having it with her. She looked expressionless at the girl, waiting for her to lead the way.

[Sena]

"T-The pig!" She exclaimed in awe. "Remind me to note that down later!" Akiyo scurried along behind Alexis, looking out for strange things. She studdied the floor carefully as she walked along it. It wasn't like other floors, it seemed to be tiled. All the tiles seemed exactly the same, there was no way in telling which one was a trap. Akiyo shook her head and took Alexis' hands.
"Friends must not be hurt.." She repeated. Akiyo was no use here, her speciality was enemies, not obsticles. Her flute, what she used to tame enemies for evaluation, was in her bag back in the classroom, so even if there were enemies she'd have to scan them by eye.

[Nova]

Alexis and Akiyo continued on, making sure that they didn't stray too far from the pig. At one point, a person appeared in front of them wielding a flamethrower and spraying fire all over...too bad this didn't last long as the pig ran over and quickly devoured him, licking its lips after it was done. "Sorry..." Alexis murmured "He's a messy eater sometimes." she was unfazed by all of this and just stared blankly. "This is boring...Big Sister said that these can get intense sometimes..." Whhat Alexis was forgetting was that it was only the beginning of the year...day one in fact...

Aseleia moved forward with Rin in tow and after a few moments they came into a place that had numerous boxes all stacked rather high and at the end was...a turret! And what was worse was that someone was at the controls! "Get down!" she said to Rin ducking for cover as the turret opened fire, she returned fire, but she was shooting blindly right now given that she didn't want to poke her head out for fear of being hit herself. "Don't you have anything that could help in this situation?!" she called to Rin

[Sena]

Akiyo made mental notes each time the pig did anything. 'Messy eater...got it!' She held Alexis' hand tighter as they got further into the course, Akiyo had never been in such circumstances before, she was actually getting quite scared.
"Alexis, doesn't Mr.Piggy (Akiyo's nickname for the pig) get full?" She asked with a higher pitched voice than normal. "I mean he just ate a person! How long can he keep that up!" She looked past the pig and saw what seemed to be a light. Akiyo raised her newly blood stained paws (that matched her neko hood) and pointed towards it. "Reckon that's the exit?" Oh she was just full of questions today!

[Nyx]

Rin dared to stick up her head to look at what was in front of them. She just needed a second to take in the scene before them, before hiding again, thinking.Which weapon would be the best? she thought Not the darts... The kunai or the shuriken, maybe... And dipped in poison of course. Let's go with the kunai, I can throw a lot on the same time then... She picked out eight kunais from their hiding places in her clothes, holding them between her fingers. Putting down the ones in her right hand she picked out a bottle of poison, dipping all the kunai's in it before taking four in each hand. She stood up, throwing towards the torret with both hands at the same time, aiming the the one by the controls. After throwing she quickly dived down behind cover, listening as the kunai's hit the target. She peeked out, seeing she had made a good hit with most of them, and the poison on them helped. "Something like this?"

[YaoiBlossom]

Nerica was tired...so very tired...Why did she have to rest here...here in this cold dark place, where no food could be found. Nerica though perhaps some worms or bugs lived in this dark place, but it turns out it was just empty. She was running low on nutrients now, and would soon perish if she didn't find food soon. Nerica didn't even bother keeping her solid forms together, in an effort to save her energy. Slowly she tried inching her way to the light seeping through a crack in the dark room, hoping that she could feed from something outside.

Nerica could feel herself oozing along the ground, and finally, she hit warm air. Even that was a bit refreshing, but it wasn't enough. Nerica was trapped in this room fill of different colored balls of different sizes and oddly-shaped sticks. She though some of the little fuzzy green ones were edible, but they were nothing more than rubber. She tried munching on the wooden sticks, but she soon ran out of those. Nerica needed to escape, and now she was close to doing so. But her entire body couldn't seep under the cracks. There was just enough of her to make a feeding tentacle, so she solidified that portion of herself. Now anything she felt get close to her she could eat. Nerica wanted to hear too, so she made a single antenna as well.

Now Nerica could hear. She heard the usual things, high pitched voices speaking English to each other. Though this time, she heard something that interested her.

"Eww! Oh my god, what is that green thing?" Nerica could tell they were referring to her. People always saw her as something disgusting. If only her master had been more powerful before creating her, and maybe perhaps Nerica would look a little less like an absolute abomination.

"Looks like it's trapped. Let's get a closer look!"

"I'm not touching it, look at all that slime!" Nerica readied herself, for food did not need to touch her for her to feed. She just needed to wait for them to get close enough, then she could grab onto something and pull it to her, so then she could begin releasing her acid to dissolve the nutrients and eat. Oh, the though of having suitable food at last almost made Nerica a bit excited, if she could feel such an emotion.

Finally when Nerica could feel body heat, she launched her limb towards it, and sure enough, she caught onto something. Nerica could hear screams, but she didn't care, she was terribly hungry. Nerica used her remaining strength to pull her subject closer, then released her acid. The screaming continued, and at last, she tasted sweet flesh. She could feel sticks hitting her, and could tell that they were trying to get her to release. Nerica wasn't evil, she was just starving. And even humans would get this desperate when starving...

[KuroSawaShirou]

This is the Shadow, one of the twin dagger, along with the Light. Quite a craftsmanship? Every ninja should know how to make it, just put an explosive seal on the hilt and threw it, it's easy, what's hard is making the seal. He stowed his dagger on it's sheathe, and went back to his seat. There's some people who Yamato knew, one of it is Jack. He's been partnering with him for some time, since only he could keep up with Yamato's speed. But Jack seems to be in his full-moon syndrome, so Yamato decides that he'll stay away for a few days. Looking around, Yamato realized that his classmates were not to be taken lightly. Assassinating them won't be easy, but trapping some of them would be a walk in a park, since some of them were pretty gullible. Seeing the teacher came in, Yamato straightened his gaze forward, not hoping to miss anything, and the floor falling.

Jack turn his gaze to the person who have that dagger, it's Yamato Fuuma. Jack has been partnering with him a few time, since he's fast, which will stabilize his strength attribute. Truth to be told, not many people want to partner up with a werewolf, since a berserk werewolf could be pretty deadly since they can't divide enemies and allies. Jack was a bit different though, he can retain his sanity if he doesn't see bloods, but if he sees bloods, he goes berserk. "Surprise death course? This is new" Jack mumbles silently, when the floor falls.



Yamato looked around, it's a dark place, looks like the surprise death course was a maze. He readied his dagger, and looked around, finding Jack falls not to far from him. "Heh, a maze, really" Jack mumbles, not noticing Yamato. "You me partner?" Yamato says "Sure" Jack accepts. So they both venture deeper to the maze

[Shanghai]

"Uh?." it was the only thing she could say before being dropped into a death course, luckily she managed to see the ground before she landed which allowed her to conjure forth a potent gust of wind to cushion her fall.
grabbed her staff with both hands she looked up still not understanding what was going on, she looked around to see if there was anybody with her as she got the feeling she shouldn't stay in that spot for too long.

"hm.. anybody there?", sure didn't seemed like it, her room was almost pitch black so the used a spell to make her staff glow with a bright light.
"nobody is here... I guess that means I'm on this alone..."
With a light sight she walked forward not knowing what sort of test this was or what surprises were waiting for her further along the road.

[LaXnyd]

Shin winced at the sudden falls, then turned back to the angel. "Ma'am, please don't tell anyone this, but I am a tengu, a deity who resides in the Japanese mountains - or at least, I used to reside there. But that is beyond the point. Ma'am - Angel -," he said, "...this is a school where mortals learn to kill each other. This is no place for a pure soul such as yours. If you wish to stay, I will not stop you, but I will highly advise against it." he said sincerely to the angel. "If you wish to stay, come with me, I'll lead you down to where the others are."
