finally! now i won't get so much hate the next time i make her sing an english song, seriously those douchebags(no offense to SeeU haters) are sometimes stuck to me like glue

I found it adorable as heck that you made her sing English songs. I don't mind Japanese and Spanish Vocaloids singing English songs. Then again I'm one of the few who might be that way.

Heck if I had SeeU, I bet I would be making her sing really butchered French (like I do for my Big Al and now Sweet Ann).

I LOVE SEEU SO I. WANT. NOW.
Great another reason for people to hate SeeU more. First because she's not a real Japanese Vocaloid and now because she's not a real English Vocaloid. Why does it matter? It's really childish.

You got a good point. SeeU does seem to get a lot of hate, and now that she's turning trilingual, so many haters are gonna go bat shit. XD I personally find it hilarious, but I don't see why people have to bash on her all the time. I mean, I'm not really her biggest fan, but I can't say I don't like her or hate her.

I think the main reason so many people dislike her is because she was the first V3 Vocaloid, and also the first Korean, which is why some die hard Miku fans feel like SeeU is trying to steal her fame or whatever. (Which will never happen. Miku was what got Vocaloid popular in the first place.)

All in all, I gatta agree. It's so childish, it's stupid. XD

I agree as well. I work in publishing, and I see this kind of stuff all the time whenever a new book takes over the best-seller list or has a similiar gimick to another series. I'm still waiting for people to wake up and realize that popular things are going to be liked, and it's natural for something else to take its place. There's a reason why some things have cult appeal and lasting power to make it a true classic.

I'm actually disguisted with this sort of thing happening in the Vocaloid community as well because this want I want to relax and listen to some good Miku and SeeU music to get away from publishing woes.

I've also seen people hate Engloids and Spainloids for not being Japanese. It's just ridiculous sometimes. I don't even have works for times like this.

Not bad, but its not that noticeable when both VBs aren't used in one song though. Femme Fatale is probably the best I've heard as far as getting Luka EN to blend with Luka JP in one song.

I now seriously want to know how they tuned Luka's english to be that nice ( My bet is that they edited the crude out of her character perimeters )

But I know that the reason I currently don't like SeeU is there is this thing in her voice it is kind of like a wailing noise that tends to bug me. However their are a few songs by her I do like. "I only speak konglish" is one I like.

I will admit myself at times when Luka Eng and Luka JPN sing alongside each other, there is a brief pause when the languages switch where I had to think at times which language she was using. This was the very first thing I noticed waaaay back in my first Luka Eng and Luka JPN combined song in late 2009. Doesn't happen all the time, its just sometimes the Japanesey sounds of her english voicebank make the first word of a language switch flow badly.

SeeU's Korean is better then her Japanese voicebank, also the tones are different between the two. Then again the tones of Miku Eng and Miku's normal voice are different from what we've heard, Miku English sounds more vivid. And Luka's English voicebank has been renounced for being softer then her Japanese. I think this has more to do with expression of the differences between languages then anything. We shall see what happens, I think expression differences will always be an issue.

Lots of new English voicebanks coming makes the statements agains the English Vocaloid software much weaker with each announcement.
Youtube poster 1; what does the [/] do?

Youtube poster 2; I'm guessing that it breaks the word in half.

that thread will come late this year or early next year :) and Gakupo too!

They're confirmed? Also I hope Zero-Get releases their Vocaloid soon... We don't need another wait like Oliver just because they don't want all the hype taken. /off topic

no. i am using the force...but:

there is considerable pressure on the other vocaloid companies to make english banks now because CFM is practically going all dual bank if they intend to compete.

also Gakupo's Voice actor is a polyglot. Dunno about Megumi's language skills but Miku proves you don't really need to be an english speaker to make a VB and there have been blogs that say megumi can speak english a little. dunno if that is true or not but it has been put out there.

also when i have asked a certain prolific tweeter from thier company his reply was he hoped to make english VBs for Gackupo and gumi but there were problems with doing so. (most likely contractual and scheduling problems) knowing how asians hate to give what they percieve as bad news it is possible his answer does not mean as much as a westerner would think but then again it may be exactly what he meant.

so no. it is not official. but it is logical speculation and not just wishful thinking.

Uh...to be honest, I'm not really looking forward to this, but it's because her other voicebanks were already on-par with that of the Kagamine twins in terms of ease of tuning and such...if they're going to keep working on SeeU, I'd rather see them release patches to make her easier to use.

Sat also did it again here:

Although this time it's more of Luka's Japanese made to sound more like Luka's English.

Anyway back on topic. I am not that impartial to it. I wonder how they'll promote this though. Hopefully not a new design, but perhaps a new drawing? We'll have to check SBSArtech's channel on YT some time near the future again

I told my dad about SeeU getting an English voicebank, and he said he would buy it for himself. And that came from someone who hates Vocaloids in general.

I'm also happy that more English voicebanks are coming out. Now people can have more of a selection just like with the Japanese Vocaloids. I think this would actually help get Engloids more noticed if there was a bigger selection in the market.
