Mansion Massacre: Case File / Report
December 11th 2011.
Abandoned Mansion in Polaris City.
Officers On Scene: Officer James Price & Officer Jessica Stewart
"As soon as we arrived at the scene, we saw a body hanging from the 3rd floor porch. His blood was dripping onto the floor creating a rather large puddle attracting animals that seemed to be eating the loose body parts that had fallen of the un-identified man. As soon as we entered the actual mansion what was before us...well let me explain it exactly as I saw it. We entered to find numerous dead bodies, all with their faces carved off - So we couldn't identify them. There was about a dozen corpses covering the main hall, the walls seemed to be painted in their blood. Me and my Partner Jessica then split up, I scanned the left part of the mansion bottom floor and Jessica took the bottom floor right.
For about an hour or so we were split up. I have no idea what she found, she still won't talk to me about it, but I'm happy to explain in this report what I found on the left side. In the first room from the hall to the left was the dining room. It contained a long dining room table and was the only room so far to be fully lit. There were candles lighting up the windows and the chandelier was fully lit. The table had a full 4 Course meal laid out, it seemed whoever owned the Mansion (Not found in the retail reports) was expecting a large amount of company tonight.
After seeing 13 corpses already, I knew that whatever was on the menu wasn't going to be your average meal. I lifted the tops of the serving trays one by one and all 4 contained the corpses of 4 wolves, shot several times the head. The had all been gagged and tied, like pigs that you find with apples in their mouths. I didn't bother to stick around in this room for to long, after all I had the rest of the bottom lower floor to investigate. At the end of the dining room there was a room that led back into an office almost. Inside the office room there were two doors, one leading back outside (To the Private Gardens which we didn't investigate) and the other leading deeper into the mansion. For now I looked around the office. There was a corpse slung over the desk, in what seemed to be a writing pose. After moving the body back I could see that what he had written was a quickly formed will. A bad one at that, but I placed it in my pocket for evidence. Apart from that there were several books in bookshelves around the outskirts of the room, and a lamp on the desk, it was a red bulb giving an eerie light to the room.
I followed the door that led deeper inside the mansion. It led to a ballroom. The room was completely dark so I had to turn on my torch and investigate in the dark. In the centre of the room the chandelier had smashed into the floor, getting rid of all source of light, except for the big glass window at the end of the room, but it was dark so it gave no light at this current time, so instead of waiting around for the sun to rise I checked out the upper circle of the ballroom, hanging from corner (I counted a maximum of 5 corners/bends of the upper circle) was a hanging body, again with no faces, this time they were gagged like the wolves. I-It was like they'd treated these humans as animals.
That was where the right side ended. The ballroom joined up the left and right side. I would've spent more time investigating if it wasn't for the scream from Jessica echoing throughout the mansion. I headed back through the right side, not noticing on my first run to the hall that the wolves had disappeared off the table. I realized this later on. I got back to the hall and I found the left side door smashed open. I hurried inside to find Jessica curled up on the floor. She had to be rushed from the scene.

I waited outside for the medics to arrive, they took Jessica back to the hospital, but seeing as my work wasn't done yet, I had to carry on investigating. I headed back inside, the wind must've caught the door behind me as it slammed shut. Seeing as we had already covered the bottom floor I decided to head upstairs, but before I reached the top of the stairs I heard a noise from downstairs. I went to check it out, this was when I noticed the wolves had gone. The window was wide open at the back of the room and it seemed something had got in, AND out. I ignored this fact and made my way to the ballroom. The office with the corpse on the desk (which I previously mentioned, I pushed back to take the note from beneath him) was now face on desk again. Again, I ignored: The ballroom was my main objective at this moment in time.
When I got inside, all 5 corpses that were hanging had vanished. I had no idea how, but the only other thing that caught my eye was the window at the back was open. I headed towards it and scanned outside, there was nothing out of the ordinary: meaning 5 faceless bodies out there. I decided to close the window up, as I did...I swear to Christ I saw a little girl in that window standing behind me. I turned and fired a few rounds into nothing. It was then I got the hell out of there. I returned back to the precinct and handed over this report and the note. That was when I resigned."

WELL THAT'S A LOT OF WRITING. Thank you for reading all of it, I had no idea it would turn out that long. All it does is give you information of how to tie your characters to the incident. Yes, they must be somehow connected to the incident for this all to work. Now I know it's all pretty grim, but I'm going for a survival horror type of roleplay here. Characters CAN be killed off if the user so wishes, if they want another user to kill them please discuss it here or in a PM, it'd be better than a page full of subtle hints.
Now, the whole report above gives you a small concept of the mansion, well the right side bottom floor. But in the roleplay we will explore the whole mansion. I will see to it personally.
Now I'm not giving away too much but as mentioned in the report there was a little girl. The roleplay won't have 'enemies' as such, but it will have the whole survival horror feeling, "There's something here...but I'm just not sure what" kinda thing.
Now enough chit chat: Let's get down the Character Layout:
