Do you think more males or females listen to vocaloid? I know it doesn't really matter, but I was curious and couldn't find any information online. :mellow:

In Japan, it's more males, but in the west, more females.

Woman here. Definitely seems to be a lot more female fans in the west, but in Japan, it seems like its mostly males.

If we put both the western + eastern fandoms together it'd be around 50-50 I think. Actually... it's maybe 60% female 40% male in the west.

This (below) pretty much says it all (from my most popular vocaloid video over the last year).

Japan is mostly middle aged male (age 35-54), rest of world is primarily female.
And here, Touhou is around 50/50 or close to an even split.

I know analytics data is reasonably accurate, or at least falls within what I'd expect for other videos I post depending on the subject matter. For instance a video of my truck is viewed 90% by males ages 25 and up.

I think it's mostly female for the rest of the world and mostly Japan for males.
