I mean, I understand Oliver and Kaai Yuki 'cos they're not legally adults, but like why do they not revile the others, such as VY2, Yukari e.c.t.

I would imagine that there would be some stigma to creating a voicebank, that would explain the secrecy. Outside of Japan having an anime avatar of yourself might be considered bizarre, and when introduced to vocaloid the first response people usually have is "WAIT WHAT ABOUT HUMAN SINGERS ROBOTS ARE GONNA TAKE OVER THE WORLD OHMYGDO;LKAFJSD;LKFJA;LDFS". I think that would be a pretty big factor in not wanting your identity revealed :\

It could also be intentional on the part of the company, as well. Revealing a voice provider would invite comparisons between the voice provider and the vocaloid, which might make the vocaloid seem less realistic? Maaayyybeee?

But that's all speculation from me. I hope speculation...is helpful...I guess?

English loids never really get anime avatars though. really, Big Al is the only one close to anime-like. anyway, this is regarding all loids so that doesnt really matter. here are the reasons why the VPs wherent revealed:
LEON and LOLA: legal reasons
Sweet Ann: legal reasons. voice provider is famous
Prima: didnt want to be
SONiKA: age/legal reasons
Yuki: age
Tonio: didnt want to be
VY1 and 2: company didnt want to
Iroha: no idea why

iirc, the VYs aren't revealed for the pure ambiguity of gender for the sake of flexibility.

VY2's voicer is also the youngest japanese male voicer we have so that might be a reason. (He's probably in his teens.)

It's really bad Iroha's voice provider is hidden because I'd so listen to her.

I saw a video with a man holding VY2 and a woman holding VY1
and that man was not on his teen's :V they just might be
there voice provider though i could be wrong
and could be just people talking about the product.

According to the Wiki, he is the youngest (aside from Oliver). Those could just be people from Bplats holding their merchandise.

The traditional understand is singers just don't want their vocal to be stolen.

CFM themselves switched to voice actors because of this because they don't have a problem with this issue.

@Blu3Powder - their part of the team behind VY1 and VY2, thats why their holding them. No one knows who did the voices of those two, we were only told that VY2 was the younges tmale vocal at the time of his release.

That's interesting about VY2, I didn't know that.

I'm going to guess he's around 18-20ish then? I just looked up Piko and it says he was born in '88, two years older than me.

(I was gonna say, "So he's 22!" but then I realized I'm turning 22 this year orz)
