that's wataru Sasaki's new twitter profile. it is a CV series vocaloid because he mentions it in a list of cv vocaloids and lists the non cv vocaloids separately.

I love it when machine translators translate Vocaloid as Bokaro |D

Anyway not a surprise, they did say they hadn't dropped CV04 yet. I doubt they're making a CV05 though, that doesn't really make sense to me since they've not even released a CV04.

Now to wait for more news on the more interesting vocaloid; Project If...

well actually i think they did say there was a cv05 in the works too at the last panel where they told us stuff. the one where we learned all these new vocaloids were coming out? the one we all stayed up to watch live stream for two days and chatted with each other in the thread for it and even bootlegged so others could see it?

I don't recall CV05 ever being mentioned/announced. But if you can find sources for it then by all means go for it, I'll believe it when I get sauce(Like anything else of course.).

well it has been a long long long time and that thread is massive to go through now but i recall they either called it a cv05 or else it was a non cv series CFM vocaloid. at any rate we have news of a new CV series vocaloid. :)

This is certainly great news, but I honestly don't think Crypton should be doing so many projects simultaneously like this. What with all the Appends/updates and English projects.

Otherwise, I am very excited for CV04. Wonder if KEI will be doing the artwork for this (and other upcoming) CV. Hooray, male CV actually voiced by a male! (I'm assuming...)

Ew, more Crytonloids. If they really want to make a splash, they need to pound out the V1 upgrades to keep people interested.

And I seriously hope they use the same quality they did in Miku's Vivid Append

welp i think that they may have wrapped up Kaito either completion or to beta final build. meaning that these next demos they are soliciting will result in no further changes or just minor tweaking. i think kaito is basically ready to go right nyow! so they have room to work on another project. meiko may be mid beta now with only one more rounds of revision to go.

@ maple: there can never be insufficient room for another vocaloid. there is always room.

There aren't even THAT many Cryptonloids... Why are people complaining? There's six (if we count Rin and Len as 2 different ones, that is.)

BTW: I saw this profile change earlier today but had kind of put it to the side. it was Vivi who reminded me about it so i went back and read the actual profile. i had mostly noted the ID change and not so much the profile. i knew it had changed but did not focus on it. So the scoop in this news thread is not mine; it is Vivi's. :)

well yeah we knew they were planning one many months ago. but we did not know the project was still alive. this is news because it is concrete official confirmation that is just hours old.

Hmm i am happy if there is a new male vocaloid in the cv series...

But crypton really needs to take things one at a time, if they do too much i just hope they don't mess up the quality for the appends and the ENG vb.
