Kei laughed, he was beginning to like these guys. They definitely seemed like brothers. He thought about his past. "It's not actually dark, just a little depressing!" He smiled while saying this. He had grown use to smiling at the oddest and most depressing things. "But you do boxing?" He turned to Nakamura or Nax as he had said to call him. Boxing to him was a little violent. Though, most things were a little violent for him. But his sister loved boxing, she actually had a few moves of her own. That she often used on Kei when he was, as she said, 'slacking off'. "My sister is quite a boxer herself". This was a true fact and he had the bruises to prove it. It wasn't that she abused him. She was just very demanding. Plus, she had never done anything to make him bleed. Besides one time she accidentally hit him in the nose. But that was when they were little and it was a complete accident. Or was it? He couldn't really remember. Kei stared at the chips a little longer and took a random amount out, about 8 to be exact, and set them in the middle of the table.

Well, i do boxing, since my neighbor used to say i'm a son of a pro boxer, but since i have an amnesia, i don't know for sure" Nakamura says "Whoa, you do boxing Nax? I'll make sure i didn't get on your bad sides" Brooke chuckles "Hey, tell you what Kei, if your sister can do boxing, you better stay away from things that can make her throw her punches. Trust me, a boxer punches is not like any punches you'll ever feel" Brooke shudders at the moment he mention boxer punches "I had experienced it before, directly to the stomach, and it sends me to hospital for a week" Brooke says. He once feels it, back then he was gambling with a boxer, and just like Nax, the boxer recognizes his cheating method, and accuse Brooke for cheating, there goes an argument, unlike Nax, the boxer can't pinpoint the evidence, frustrated, the boxer went wild, punching everything around him, including Brooke "Punch to stomach and you're in the hospital for a week? You do sit-ups dude?" "Shuddap! Gamblers don't need strength! They need skills! "Yeah? You know any self-defense buddy?" "I sure am! I can trump a card with such speed that it could even pierced your chest! Directly to the heart!" "Hah! You're just-" But before he finishes the sentence, Nax feels a sharp pain on his head "ARGH!" Nax says, as he holds his head "Whoa buddy! You okay?" And Nax blacks out. In his blackout, Nax could see himself in a ring, without audience, with another boxer who he didn't recognize. They're sparring, sparring for a long time, until suddenly accident happen, Nax lands a blow, but the blow is very heavy, and it landed straight to the opponent chest, directly to the heart. In an instant, the opponent knocked out, and he's lying there, lifeless. "N.........He.........!.......W..ke.....up!! Nax could faintly hear a sound, it's Brooke's voice "NAX WAKE UP!!!!" Nax could feel the light "Guh, what just happened? What the hell is that?" Nax says "What the hell is what?" "I have a dream, or a vision, or something, i'm there, sparring with someone, but there's accident, i accidentally killed him, because i landed a heavy blow right on his chest, directly to his heart" "Wha- You sure it wasn't a bad dream?" Brooke is deep in thought, and then he came to conclusion "Could it be that that dream is a part of your lost memories?" Brooke says, since he remembers that if a person have an amnesia, and when his/her memories is revoked, the person will feel a sharp pain "What do you think Kei?" Brooke asked Kei

Kei knew what Brooke was talking about. But it was to late. He had already received the wrath of his sister. Right before he had come here actually. There was a large bruise forming on Kei's lower left abdomen. Then he realizes that something is wrong with Nax. He watched Brooke call to him but knew it wouldn't reach him so he didn't bother yelling out himself. He was worried though. Had he hit his head on something before arriving? That would've been bad. If he passed out right here no one would be able to help him. They would have to call an ambulance. But thankfully NaX seemed to come to. "Are you okay?" Kei said immediantly. If he really had hit his head he wanted to know. "Did you hit your head on something before you came here?". Kei knew that this could lead to a concussion. Apparently, as Nax described, it had been a vision not a hallucination do to hitting your head. Kei disregarded his last question and started to think. As Brooke had mentioned it could be his memories coming back. Though, if that was his memory, it was a very disturbing one. Not that he would hate Nax for it, many accidents happened in boxing. "Well, yes it could be his memories...many boxing accidents happen these days...". Kei was just happy that they had stopped playing cards. That game made him feel like an idiot.

"It's part of my memories huh? I wonder how is it related to me.........." Nax trying to remember the event, and he recognize the location "That place...... i recognize it............. it's....... my home, it's my gym!" Nax exclaimed "Your gym dude? You mean that someone is sparring with you on your gym?' "Most likely, but urgh, i need a rest" "Whoa hey man, just rest okay, you need to be on top form. Sleep on the couch" "Yeah, i probably should" Nax says, as he lays his head on the couch, and drifted to sleep "Whew, i never thought that he actually killed someone, even by accident" Brooke says, as he collects his cards and his chips "Well, sorry for this, but i think it might be better if we do not continue the game. I'm planning to do some research, i think i may have a clue about Nax's memories"

Kei just stood there and watched as Nax went to sleep on the couch. "Yea, he doesn't actually seem capable of killing a person....". Kei didn't mean that he wasn't strong or didn't look strong. He just thought that Nax was to nice to actually kill a person, even on accident. He must've felt horrible after killing the person. "It's fine I didn't really understand the game anyway". It was true and Kei felt relieved. He grabbed his bag and sat down by the couch, on the floor. The floor was surprisingly comfortable. Kei pulled out a notebook and opened it to the next blank page. Then pulled out a newly sharpened pencil. He had an idea for a story and didn't want to let it slip away. He hurriedly started scribbling words on the paper. Well, it wasn't actually scribbling since his writing was neat but he had started writing very quickly.

Brooke looked around for any computer, which seems to be nowhere. Brook can use his phone to connect to internet, but seems like there's no signal here. "Damn, no signal and no internet access, we're pretty much isolated from the outside world huh?" Brooke mumbles. Brooke gets out from the mansion, hoping to get some signals. Brooke waves his phone in the air. No signal. "Damn, i can't get any signals, and looks like there won't be any. I wonder if the Grenadine has put a jammer around here........." Brooke looked around, and from the forest, he could see a silver light, which quickly fades away "Huh?" Brooke moves closer to the forest, but stopped halfway, following his instinct to not get closer. "I'm gonna investigate it later" Brooke says, as he gets back to the mansion. He remembered an accident back in the past, a pro boxer was found dead in his own gym, cause of death: heavy blow to the chest. It matches Nax description, but he have to make sure it's the real thing, Brooke had hoped to find a signal, connect to internet, access database, and show the article to Nax, but seeing there's no signal, he decides to go back. He's back at shuffling his cards at the corner near planter, since Kei is writing something, and Brooke wouldn't want to disturbs him.

Kei finishes writing his idea down and writes about 2 pages worth of story. He had quit a while ago actually. He was more curious to see what Brooke was doing. Kei pulled out his own phone. Brooke was right, there was no signal whatsoever. Well, at least his sister couldn't call Kei. If there had been signal she probably would've called around 10 times already. Most of them would probably be to yell at him. He had seen Brooke head outside. Kei wondered what he needed the internet for. But shrugged it off, he didn't really like to get into other peoples business. Kei resumed writing when Brooke came back inside. He had almost finished the 4rth page of writing. Something was bugging him. He didn't know what it was but he knew that there was something strange, almost scary...and it was here. "Doesn't it feel like your being watched..." He wasn't talking about the people in the living room with them. He was use to being watched by people, a waiters habit but something else was watching them. Of course, they probably had cameras everywhere for security reasons but that wasn't what he was talking about either. There was something in this room, watching them.

Hearing Kei's question, Brooke approaches Kei "Huh? You feel it too Kei?" Brooke asked, remembering the silver shadow outside the mansion "Something is clearly not right about this place, something feels................... odd" Brooke says, still shuffling his cards. Brooke looks around, and it even make the atmosphere even creepier. Isolated from outside, giant mansion, surrounded by forest, and there's some abnormal activities around the mansion. Brooke approaches the couch, waking up Nax "Hey Nax, wake up, there's something strange here". Nax wakes up "What's up.........." Nax says, with a drowsy voice "Keep us companied, there's something eerie around here" "What now? The so called gambler is afraid of ghost?" "Trust me, i've seen it" "Bugs off Brooke! I'm trying too-" and a sudden chill runs to Nax's Spine "The hell was that?" And outside the window, Nax could see a sudden blood flows, making Nax jumped a bit backward "Hey Brooke, do you see that?" NAx says, as he pointed towards the bloodied window, but now it's clean "Do you see it too? A silver shadow?" "NO! I see some blood on the window!" "This is not good. Hey Kei, what do you think we should do?"

Kei looks up at Brooke. Something is very odd about this place. He looks around. I wonder were everyone is. Most of the people still haven't shown up. There is something strange going on. While looking around the room Kei see's something out of the corner of his left eye. That something was a pair of eyes, red as blood and they were staring right at him. Kei jolts a little in shock, he hadn't expected to actually see anything. He just thought that the mansion was probably haunted. He didn't mind if it was but after seeing those eyes. He realized that it was much more than a haunting. He didn't know how much more it was, if there was a conspiracy or if the host wanted all of them dead, for no reason. Apparently, they had wanted their guests to go crazy from, what doctors would call, hallucinations. But these hallucinations were very much as real as any human in this world. He looked over to the couch, Brooke had just woken Nax, who was now talking about some blood on the window. Kei looked at the window, there was no blood. So, he wasn't the only one suffering from these so called hallucinations. They had to get out of there, and fast. If not he was sure that they would all go crazy. "We need to get out...now" Kei stood up from where he was sitting. He wobbled a little and balanced himself, placing a hand on the wall. The room had started spinning. Kei closed his eyes and shook his head. When he opened his eyes everything went black. He had passed out, hitting the floor with a thunk.

"Oh whoa, Kei! You still there?" Brooke approaches Kei, shaking him up "Let me check" Nax approaches Kei too, checking his blood pulse and temperature, comparing to his pulse and temperature "The pulse is weaker than mine, and the temperature is lower than mine. This is not good, we'll need a warm towel, do you have any hot water?" Nax says, as he looks around, looking for any water source "I don' have any! But wait, do normal water will do?" "Not as well as hot water, but will do, go get it!" "Sit tight!" Brooke says, as he darted to his bag, taking out a bottle of water, and threw it to Nax "Catch!". In reflex, Nax catch it, and in an instant, pour a bit on Kei's face and a bit on his mouth and a bit on his handkerchief. Nax put his wet handkerchief on Kei's forehead "This will do now. What should we do now?" And the front door got slammed shut "Nice, now we're locked in" "CRAP!!!! WHAT SHOULD WE DO?!?!?!?!? WHAT SHOULD WE DO?!?!?!?! Nax walked towards the other door, tries to openit, but it was locked, then he put his gauntlet on, and *CRASH*, He broke the door. "Brooke, come here, we need to find to get outta here. And we're not going out from the front door, who knows what will came from the forest-" *RRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA* something roars from the hallway where Nax just broke the door leading to it. "AAAAAAH!!!!!!!!" "DON'T FRIGGIN PANIC! CALM DOWN! WE'RE GOING TO DIE!!!! WE'RE GOING TO-" *SLAM*, Nax just jumped and punch the ground near Brooke. "Calm. Down" and Brooke instantly shuts up. *RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA* the voice gets louder, louder, louder, and the things came to sight. It's a deformed human, no not human, more like, pile of junk came to life "DAMN!!!" And Nax jumped forward, hitting the thing on the face, and sends it flying over 5 meters, and also renders it incapacitated "The hell was that?" Brooke says, with a scared voice "Whatever it is, it won't just sit down and let us explore this place"

---Kei's nightmare---
Kei was laying down. He tried to get up but something was stopping his limbs from moving, it was dark. Suddenly, a bright light came on, shining right in his face. When his eyes adjusted to the light he looked around. He seemed to be in a hospital room, tied to a surgical table. "I see your awake...". The voice came from no where yet everywhere at the same time. It was low and deep, sort of...demonic. Then he saw it, a figure standing in the corner. It seemed to be a man but he couldn't tell for sure. "Who are you?" Kei asked, a little to calmly. Even though it felt real, he figured that it was probably a dream. He was probably at the mansion right now, laying down on the floor. Or...he hoped he was. The man didn't answer but instead made a strange sort of movement with his hand. The movement was inhuman. Kei soon realized what the movement was for when he saw some strange creatures appear beside him, it had been a signal. One of the creatures had something in it's hand. It was some sort of bubbling liquid. What is that...? He wondered and stared at the figure in the corner. After a few minutes of staring the figure finally answered his former question. "I'm your worst nightmare". Kei gasped painfully as he felt an extreme burning pain in his arm. Then looked up. The creature had poured the liquid on his arm, which now seemed to be melting. He finally figured out what the liquid was....it was acid. Kei screamed.

Kei woke up with a start and screamed. He was sweating but freezing at the same time. His heart rate above the normal level and breathing was hard and rapid. He needed to calm down, if he didn't he would pass out again. In...out...in...out...It was just a dream. You'll be fine. . After a few minutes of breathing exercises and motivational words he had calmed down. The dream had seemed so real and the pain was like nothing else. His arm still hurt. So he rolled up his sleeve and looked. The part that the acid had been splashed on was charred black. Sort of like when you burn a piece of paper. He starred at it in astonishment...had it been a dream? Kei shook his head and put down his sleeve. Of course it had been a dream, how else would he be here? He stood up and looked around, holding on to the wall for support. He saw Brooke and Nax by a seemingly busted door. He walked over to them. "What happened here?".

"Oh you won't believe this Kei, THERE'S A FRIGGIN GHOST HERE!!!!!!! THIS IS A FRIGGIN HAUNTED MANSION!!!!!!!!" Brooke went off "It's not exactly a ghost, it's a strange creature, so strange that i couldn't even describe what it is" Nax says, as he looked to his gauntlet that hit the monster, which is melting a bit from the creature blood "And that creature's blood is an effective acid, look at my gauntlet, it's melting bit by bit" Nax says, as he chips the gauntlet, so that the meltdown doesn't spreads "We're isolated here, the front door is locked, and i don't think i'll be able to break it, or even if i did, there's no telling what waits us on the forest. No signal, no map, and definitely no safe place" Nax says, as he looks around "W-we're n-not walking i-inside those hall r-r-r-right?" "We're not. It's dark, and i don't know where the switch are, and walking in the dark with that kind of creature lurking about is just stupid" Brooke takes a breath of relief "You two have any self-defense weapon? There's no telling how many kind of that creature here" "I have my cards and my card case. I have a lot of cards, and my case is pretty hard and heavy" "And you Kei? In any case now, we need to find the host, or we'll be trapped here for eternity" then Nax notices Kei's arm "Why the hell is your arm?"

Kei looked at Brooke and Nax. He hadn't really expected Brooke to freak out. Well, it was a normal reaction. So maybe his expectations were to high. He thought that the place was probably haunted but it was more than that. It seemed to be infested with monsters, or that's just what he thought. Nax didn't specify whether they had seen 1 or more. So it's easier just to assume that there are more. Just so you won't be caught off guard. Kei had in fact taken a few years of martial arts but since the monsters blood seemed to be acidic. It was probably not a good idea. "I don't really have anything I could use as a weapon, except maybe a pencil and an extra belt that I have in my bag". Kei looked at his arm again. He didn't really know how to explain what happened. Maybe he had rolled over in his sleep, hit something? No, that would not have caused that much pain. He couldn't even find an explanation. "The dream....it.." He tried to think of a way to describe it. It had been a sort of extreme burning sensation. So he guessed it would be right to say that it had burned him. But it was with acid so he didn't exactly see how that would work. Wait, if the monsters blood was acidic...had it touched him? All he could think of was one word to say. "Acid"

"Acid? How the hell did it happen? There's no creature around here, how the hell the acid reaches you? And you say dream?" Nax says, half not believing Kei's story, but since it did came true............ "Well can we move away from here? It gives me creeps here....." Brooke says, seems like he has regained his calmness, a bit "Suggestion taken, we need some sharp thing, or long ranged weapon" Nax says, as he approaches another wall, putting his ear on the door, in an instant when Nax put his ear on the door, the door busts open, revealing another creature, bigger, and sturdier. Nax got thrown back a few meters, but managed to survive for not hitting the wall "EAT THIS!!" Brooke shouts, as he trump his cards towards the creature, slicing through the creature head. The creature winced, but still standing "EAT THIS AGAIN!!!!!" Brooke shouted again, threw a rain of cards. The next moment the cards has pierced the creature, resulting it's death. "That's really something" Nax stood up, as he approaches the death creature "This one isn't acid, the cards is still the same, not melted or anything. My theories is correct then, there's some species here" Nax says, as he collect the card "Gimme that" Brooke snatches the cards from Nax's hand "Whew, in any case, a pencil and a belt? Good luck with that Kei, if you don't feel like it, just stay back, or do you wanna come with us? The hallway here seems to be brighter" Nax says, as he pointed to the hallway where the monster just popped up

Kei didn't blame Nax for not believing him either, he hardly believed it himself. But something had to burn his arm. Whether it was a monster or through the dream. He wondered if dreams could actually kill you. He once remembered it happening in a movie but then again, it was a movie. Movies are usually based on theories or myths. Some based on true stories but even then, they sort of 'bend the truth'. Kei didn't really want to be alone, he hated it. It made him feel a little, well, lonely. Plus, he had started to like these two. They were almost complete opposites but like brothers at the same time. The monster attack hadn't really fazed Kei, he just stood there. His dream had prepared him for the worst. "I can do close combat, but only if the monsters aren't acidic." In his dream, acid hurt...a lot. So he didn't really want to be burned again but he guessed that if he accidentally mistook an acidic monster for a non-acidic monster then he could deal. Just as long as it didn't melt through his hand. That would be a problem. Kei looked into the hallway. "Want me to go first?" He didn't really mind going first, he wasn't afraid.
