Looks like they're breaking the pattern of two versions -> third version with more features and this time making sequels.

This is something they haven't done before and I AM EXCITE. Serebii says they're going to be on the DS (not the 3DS, though they'll have DSi and 3DS extras) and they'll be out in Japan in June (!!! which seems pretty close, maybe they'll even be out worldwide later this year?)

Edit: Kyurem gets two new formes, one combined with Reshiram and the other with Zekrom, and it looks like these are going to be the cover legendaries. It also looks like they're switching and are going to be in the version title that matches their color:

The formes have been named "Black Kyurem" and "White Kyurem"

Like, it's their real names.

I'm really excited, it'll sort of be like Gold and Silver where you can go see what's happened in Kanto.

It sounds really cool though. I've liked the 5th gen so much I had been considering getting Black too, but I wanted to wait and see if aything new would be announced. Sure enough, now I can get Black 2 instead.

I hope this means we get the Battle Frontier back. That was the only thing that disappointed me about Black & White.

And if we do get a postgame-Hoenn, then I shall vomit rainbows and prance with joy. No lie.

Was this the game that was being called Pokemon Grey at a previous point in time?

Anyway, I don't have a large interest in this as of yet, because those formes just don't appeal to me.
And if it does the whole thing about going to other regions without some gripping reason, I don't think I'll be getting this.

Only more info can tell me if it would be worth it.

Yes, someone who agrees with me. What I want back, because it was taken away after generation 3, are the Pokenavs. Those things were so cool. Really

Also, something els, I already miss having contests even though it was just one generation without them.

I'm so excited for this, like you don't even know. But I'm not sure which one I'll get, as both mascots look equally cool. I think I'll wait till more info is out and compare them more before I decide. Though one question keeps nagging me... Are Black Kyurem/ White Kyurem still Ice Dragon types?
