Okay so, I was re-installing Rin/Len on my new laptop, and their activation said I had activated too many times. So I thought "okay well I'll just email Crypton and ask for a new one". So I emailed them (in Japanese via Google Translate and with the original English message at the bottom) explaining that my activation code expired and I need a new one, and that I had proof of purchase. They haven't replied back yet though. I sent the email almost two months ago. What should I do? I need a new activation code to import them into V3.

Suggestions: maybe get one of the forums native Japanese or trained Japanese speaker/writers to double check your email composition and resend it. also see if they have a twitter or other social networking ID and go that route. additionally if they have an international phone number you could try that but you might need a translator to help with that maybe via skype or something? you might even compose a letter and send it via regular mail. if you are especially desperate you could send it via a service that requires a signature on receipt. get the help of a translator or hope that they have a fluent english customer service person.

EDIT: If all esle fails look into keygens. it's not pirating if you have legitimately purchased a product and the company fails to service you properly.

Thanks, I'll ask someone.

And I don't think keygens will work for importing into V3. My V2 editor is being weird and I haven't been able to figure out how to fix it, but as long as the activation goes right I can import into V3. I can't use her in V2 though.

Might be a little late but Crypton will respond to English support emails. But basically the email will say you need to make an account and link your Vocaloids to it. They have a system where you can reset your limit without asking for permission.
