Bruno followed the realter into the apartment complex, a smile never leaving his face. He had finally managed to move out of his old town, and focus on his life as a musician. Incredibly, this city chock full of vocaloids managed to have rooms available. He could have sworn there was no room...But at least there was.

"And this will be yours," the girl said, opening the door into a lovely apartment which had a perfect window view of the sunset. Furniture was there, as if someone lived there. "Oh, the previous owner...left unexpectedly, not getting the furniture. Consider it part of the package." As if that hadn't set the sale, she mentioned, "it's clean, too. Very nice." Bruno smiled wider. "I'll take it," he said eagerly. The apartment was the place of his dreams. It was as if the city had expected him.

Lily walked to her house from her waitressing job, passing by an apartment complex where a man was shaking hands with a realtor. One of the new ones, Lily realized. Little did Mr. Happy there know that those places belonged to recently evacuated/exterminated(?) UTAUs. From what Lily had been hearing, it was the Engloids idea, and the loss of UTAUs had caused a rift. A little bird had said at the resteraunt that there would be a storm brewing, and as soon as she saw the new man's face, saw his eagerness to be here, saw his naivity at the truth and the tensions, that the little bird was right...

Yeah, I really hate cannon ships. Not only they shoot cannonballs for heavy damage to buildings and infantries, they're also usually naval units, which means they can only be attacked by other naval units. And boy do they destroy other ships easily. Flying units are safe from safe from them, but flying units suck at destroying mechanical units. Cannonships are way too OP, nerfs needed.

Miriam was walking home from a day at the park. She had a handful of professional gigs lined up, mostly as backup vocals, but nothing felt quite as right as singing in the park. There was a certain freedom about it that just couldn't be met anywhere else. Recording studios were as good as cages. When you were in a recording studio you had to sing what would sell, on the streets you could sing whatever you wanted, even if it only ended up getting a penny in your guitar case.

She pulled out her phone to call her agent, taking one day to herself usually had to be met with weeks of working in a studio for an album she would never get credit for singing on. Before she typed in the phone number, however, she saw a man outside of the UTAU's old place. Poor things, constantly being unzipped wrong, unstable, some of the others had told her. Someone told her that it was the J-Loids who said the Vocaloids would be better off without the more demented UTAUs. However this guy was definitely a Vocaloid, albeit one she had never met. She decided that talking to the new guy would be less painful than talking to her agent, if only by a hair. Hoping this would be a short and sweet conversation she lazily said, "Hello."

Meiko walked or let's say a badass strut down the side walk, with her big sunglasses and leather jacket. She ran a hand threw her short, fluffy brown hair and kept walking to her favorite cafe. When she reached her destinatation, she took off her glasses and folded them, and put them in her shirt. "Table for one, please." she noticed one of her friends was working, Lily. She did a side grin, and she walked to her table with the menu. She plopped herself down on the booth and sighed happily as she did so, waiting for the waitress.

Prima, walked down the thin street of a little town, that she finds more enjoyable than an opera house. She had her same, bored face. But she kept thinking, I wonder how this town became so quiet. She kept walking, and she tucked a small, black curl behind her ear and grinned. She touched her hip, of where her dagger was hidden.

Some distance from the big cities, Gakupo walked into the (admittedly) small main street of a quiet village. As some of the residents there turned and wondered why the one famed as the Dancing Samurai was there, he ignored them and walked towards the nearest inn. Securing a room there, he walked around the village, lost in his thoughts. He would not get mixed up in some political squabble. He knew that the Engloids and J-loids blamed each other for the UTAU disappearance. He also knew that neither of them were particularly sorry that the massacre happened, anyways.

Hypocrites.

Breathing in the air - it was so different from the city - he poured calmness into himself once again. Sure, he may miss singing. However, that did not mean he would give it up entirely. Just because there were no adoring fans, just because there were no media and papparazzi, doesn't mean he wouldn't sing. In fact, this would be better, in his opinion.

Meanwhile, in news around the city, including public areas and cafes, news just came in about his disappearance.

Miku's long twintails bounced as her sides as she walked along the sidewalk of the city. She noticed a man and a woman in front of the old UTAU building and frowned. She recognized the extra person as a realtor. He's living there? It was the very same, and very infamous, complex where the UTAUs had "disappeared" from. Anything for business, I guess. Besides, she had heard news about new Vocaloids moving over here, and where there was room, there they would go. But there...? ...Gross.
Miku sighed and paid attention to where she was going. She opened the door to the cafe and peered around. She only wanted a quick bite. A cookie, maybe.

In the considerably smaller town, Luka came around the corner of a building and strolled down the street. There was no way she could handle the hustle and bustle of the big city. It was too crowded, too loud, and there was just... too much there. Here, she was satisfied. There wasn't a lot she had to deal with here. She considered it to be perfect. She looked up at the sky and smiled, humming a song she was quite familiar with as she went along.

As he walked around the village, Gakupo found a small clearing off to the side, surrounded by trees. Deciding that he needed to keep his skill level up, he waited until the next time the wind blew. Closing his eyes, he focused.

A few moments later, he felt the wind.

Opening his eyes, he unsheathed his Katana and, in a series of strokes, had cleanly most if not all of the falling leaves straight from the tip to the stem. Nodding in satisfaction, he was about to try again when the sight of a girl with a cane caught his attention. She was humming a song and seemed gentle enough, but he had a feeling there was more to her than what he saw on the outside.

Luka noticed the man with the katana in her peripheral vision. The sudden movement caught her eye. She turned her head slightly to get a better look, all while trying to act nonchalant about it. Her steps slowed, and the clicks of her cane meeting the ground halted. She glanced up at the sky again and waited. A bird swooped down to land on the top of a building.

She flicked the top of her cane open to reveal a concealed spear. She took two seconds or so to aim precisely and threw it in the bird's direction. It squawked and fell to the ground, bringing her "cane" down with it. Luka smiled slightly and limped over, picking it up and closing it.

Noticing the sound of the cane halt, Gakupo saw the spear inside the "Cane". He watched her as she took aim and threw it at the bird, killing it. He sighed. It seems as if this village wouldn't be as quiet as he hoped.

sorry for such a short post, but I gtg now.

(OOC: Aww, darn. Hope to see you on later.)

It was quiet enough for Luka to hear him sigh. It's not like she planned on eating it or anything. She kicked the corpse into the bushes, and hid it as well as she could. She took a few steps back. It wasn't noticeable from here. You'd have to really be interested in the bushes to see it. She continued walking, except slower. She took a few glances every now and then at the man with the katana. She also sighed. There wasn't much she could do to practice with a spear. You'd have to wait around for a target to come by.

Len set down the controller and turned off his game. He leaned back looking quite pleased with himself. He got up to walk downstairs and grabbed a drink from his refrigerator. He as he drank the drink he turned on the tv. "Ewh...more talk about all these 'politics' and stuff.." he said sounding disinterested. He decided to go for a walk and maybe get something to eat. He grabbed his music player and headphones. He stopped before leaving and muttered "What time is it? Is it getting late already? Eh even if it's not couldn't hurt.." he said grabbing his own weapon of defense against whatever threat may come at him: a tazer. He slipped it in his pocket and put his headphones in as he started out the door and down the block.

Seeing her leave the crow in the bushes, Gakupo debated with himself. Then, he walked towards where she left the crow and, digging a small hole with his hands, give it a decent funeral. There lay the dead bird, victim of a sudden whim to train. After making a makeshift maker for it in the form of a stone, he got up and said to the woman walking away: "You know, if you want an opportunity to train, I would be happy to be your opponent." he said. That way, perhaps less birds would have to die.

Luka stopped walking and turned around to face the man. She hadn't expected him to approach her. "...Sure. I don't see why not." she agreed, in a slightly quieter voice than usual. "You wouldn't mind?" She only ever uses her spear to stab things. But that's all she knew how to do with it. She didn't want to stab him, but she didn't think she'd let him anyway. "I don't think I made a very good first impression of myself."

"That's alright." Gakupo promised. "Of course I don't mind. Oh, just to be clear - we're not practicing to the death." he didn't want to give her the impression they would be fighting until one of them died - that would be a duel, not practice anyhow.

Besides, with the upcoming 'storm', as his mentor had called it, both of them just might need the practice.

Bruno waved as the realter wlked off, then turned tohis new home. Finally, a place for him to call his own, and do what he wanted. Though something seemed...off, but he didn't know what.

He turned as he was addressed by a woman. She looked like an interesting figure, so he smiled. "Hello," he replied. He stared at her for a bit, then caught how rude that was, and continued with, "I'm Bruno," and extended his hand.

"Lily! Table Two!" the manager shouted over the din in the kitchen. "Yeah, I've got it," she replied in a bored tone, heading out to the dining area. She smiled when she saw Meiko, the only person with whom she could not worry about what she said. She walked over, beaming. "Hey, Meiko." A customer yelled for something and she yelled, "Give me a second!" She would have been harsher, but her manager was watching. Lily turned back to Meiko. "Sorry about that. So, how's it going?"
