Overview and Plot

Taking place in a period similar to the Middle Ages, this story takes place many years later and much after the fall of the legendary old Kingdom of Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table who swore to protect it. This was due to in fact to the evil dark sorceress Morgane Le Fay who had discovered the secret of immortality and became an all powerful being. Her dark power and influence had managed to reach the thrones of Camelot itself, destroying it from within and bringing the once mighty kingdom that stood for peace and justice to its very knees and under her power. Ever since then the Dark Sorceress has claimed Camelot as her home where she schemes to take over the land for herself and most likely the world.

However there were those who still rebelled under Morgane's rule and chose to resist and fight. After a long and drawn out war, known throughout the land as the Dark War, that lasted for centuries, a new hope had emerged for the rebel factions. Her name is Lydia Pendragon, the last descendant of King Arthur himself and the one true heroine that would safe the land from Morgane's grasp.

Now in the center of the Lake of Avalon stands a new Camelot, Lydia, deciding to embrace her own destiny decided to proclaim herself Queen of Avalon and pledged on her birthright to fight the dark forces that would harm her Kingdom and the very lands her ancestors once fought for in the past.

Rules

- No godmodding or meta-gaming

- No killing off other characters unless given permission to do so

- Make OC's historically realistic (ex: Chuck Norris would not be an appropriate name for a medieval warrior). OC's can have the name of the Arthurian character you are portraying for easy identfication

- Please ask first what Arthurian characters you want so I can have them reserved and tell others which are still open

- All OOC post or plot discussion should be left here and not in the actual RP thread.

- X-rated post in spoiler tags if you would please

- A good descriptive intro is required, other than that feel free to post as much as you want as long as you stay active in the RP.

- Any questions or concerns you can PM me or reply to this thread

Oh the coloured knights, from the story of Gareth, I remember reading that in English class, and yet he beats all 3 XD.

Username: Daiyousei
Character Name: Galiene
Descendant: Sir Galahad
Age: 16
Gender: female
Weapon: Weapon conjuration spells (conjures temporary weapons to use, she prefers dual wield swords)
Armor: Light Seductress (Light armor, amplifies the magic of a succubus)
Personality: Very modest, she is always afraid of her armor falling off or getting damaged, she dislikes when other people hit on her, as she vows purity. She usually keeps to herself and doesn't talk unless spoken to, this is mainly to keep her dark urges at bay.

Bio: Born to a man who was tricked into conceiving her by a succubus disguised as his lover, she has made a vow to avoid unneccessary sexual contact to make amends. She grew up learning that her succubus mother had fallen desperately in love with her father and would go to any lengths to copulate with him, she apologizes for any grief she has caused and teaches her magic. As she is part-succubus she exhibits some features of one that she can conceal at will, but unable to use her magic when doing so. Because of her devotion, her succubus magic has evolved from dark to light.
Appearance:
Spoiler

Skills:

Charm: Natural seductive succubus charm that distracts foes, though she doesn't like the attention much

Disguise: Utilizing shapeshifting to infiltrate the ranks of foes to spy or sabotage, however she can't use other magic when doing so

Comjuration: She can also conjure stuff other than weapons, but their usefulness may be not as practical. She has not mastered conjuration yet and cannot conjure anything bigger than an average spear without putting too much strain on her mana pool from conjuring it, let alone hold the spell for a lengthened period of time.

(I just let my mind run and somehow turned her into a half-succubus)

Name:Username: Dragon God
Character Name: Eowyn (Foli, this better not have been some obscure reference... XD)
Descendant: Gawain
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Weapon: A single edge blade meant more for crushing. Perfect for a boisterous warrior. She has yet to name it, as she feels weapons need not be named! On some occasions, a shortsword and a chessboard shield, like that one time Gawain did...
Armor: Medium-light, otherwise she would not be able to move with the weight of her sword!
Personality: Eowyn is a very, boisterous, honorable, yet flawed woman who holds her family's honor very highly. Like ancestor like daughter. She does fear death, but can look past it. (Of course, there were other interpretations...)
Bio: Eowyn was abandoned to a pocket of resistance fighters as a young girl in an attempt to preserve her family's heritage, forcing her to learn how to fight at a young age, but also instilling a sense of honor and duty as well. While she has a bit of a soft spot for beautiful people (of both sexes, mind you, if you read up on Gawain, you'd get it =p), she is nonetheless loyal to those she serves to the bitter end, and despite a fear of death, she'd gladly take a sword for her fellow knights. Or a ball of flame. Or Arrows. You get the point.
Appearance: Clicky
Skills:
Blessing of the Sun: Eowyn gains strength proportionate to the time of day. At Night, she weakens drastically.
Dutybound: Unable to be swayed from duty except in certain circumstances.
Self Healing: Due to Gawain's actions in life, Eowyn can regenerate a certain amount of damage inflicted during a daylight battle.

Mkay =D

Unlike the others she doesn't need to be a reincarnation or a relative or anything...she could acutaly be the ture Lady of the Lake. =D

Morgane La Fay would be in the same boat as well in this plot.

Yep! That's the plan!

So with that saying you are going to make a Merlin descendant?

Aww...no Sir Not-Appearing-In-This-Film? And now I'll be done with the Monty Python references...

I'll make Morgane in a second. So she's not entirely immortal, I shall think up an epic secret weakness. XD

Yeah, I really hate cannon ships. Not only they shoot cannonballs for heavy damage to buildings and infantries, they're also usually naval units, which means they can only be attacked by other naval units. And boy do they destroy other ships easily. Flying units are safe from safe from them, but flying units suck at destroying mechanical units. Cannonships are way too OP, nerfs needed.

Nonono, I LOVE Monty Python references, especially if someone is willing to chop down a tree with a herring.
