Gakupo Kamui sat in the small cafe in his usual spot, waiting for the man he usually ate with. He had learned from experience that his friend Kaito was usually late, but he wasn't ever this late. The samurai frowned slightly, wondering where he could be. Had he forgotten the lunch meeting? Or had he cancelled without Gakupo knowing, like the one evil Saturday when Gakupo overslept and his phone died? Gakupo checked his phone: good connection, with a half charge and no messages of any kind. He rested his chin on his hand and sipped his soda, waiting somewhat patiently for Kaito to arrive.

Yeah, I really hate cannon ships. Not only they shoot cannonballs for heavy damage to buildings and infantries, they're also usually naval units, which means they can only be attacked by other naval units. And boy do they destroy other ships easily. Flying units are safe from safe from them, but flying units suck at destroying mechanical units. Cannonships are way too OP, nerfs needed.

The door to the cafe burst open, the little bell ringing above Kaito Shion's head. His breathing implied that he had ran here at least halfway. He walked in, closing the door behind him. It wasn't that hard to find Gakupo. The purple hair was a fast giveaway; besides, he knew his (or their) spot. Kaito caught his breath and smiled, speed-walking towards his table. "I'm sorry." he sat down in front of him. "There was a mishap when I was about to leave... hope I'm not too late."

Gakupo smiled at his friend. "It's no problem," he said, pointing to Kaito's strange-looking soda. "I had ordered you a root-beer float, but it's more like root-beer with a lot of cream now." It surprised Gakupo how well he knew Kaito, he even knew the kind of things he enjoyed eating. As soon as he saw there was a root-beer float, he knew Kaito would want to have one, what with his ice cream obsession.

"You know what?! Screw it!" Gakupo turned his head to see another friend, Dell Honne, yell into his cell phone and hang up, then bury his head in his arms. He knew Dell was in a bad relationship, and they had probably just broken up. "Want to go cheer him up?" he asked, turning back to Kaito.

Kaito beamed and was just about to thank him a million times when Dell caught their attention. "Yeah. He looks like he could use it." He'd never been through a break-up himself, or at least not a major one. He tried going out with Miku once, but just because she had asked him out. The relationship lasted about two days before he had to lightly tell her that it wouldn't work out. Even so, Kaito never had to deal with someone telling him that... In this case, Kaito would just use his bright optimism, even though Dell wasn't much of an optimist himself.

Gakupo got out of his seat and headed over to Dell. The poor guy never had any luck in relationships, which must be disappointing. Dell had said that his bisexuality might scare people off, but Gakupo secretly thought it had something to do with his prickly personality. Dell looked up at the two, a scowl etched on his face. "I can't find a decent woman. I can't find a decent man. Why don't I become a frigging monk, for crying out loud?!" He shook his head and held it in his hands.

Gakupo sighed sympathetically. It must be hard to not find anyone, but what did he know? He had a decent relationship with Meiko at the moment, so he didn't have to worry about nasty relationships. If only there were some way to cheer Dell up, but unless they could find something tangible to make him happy, like maybe a new lover...that was it. "Kaito, can you come here for a sec?" He motioned over to a place just out of earshot. "Go ahead, I was gonna leave." Dell got up and headed outside, lighting a cigarette as he stopped outside the cafe, smoking.

Kaito obeyed and walked over to Gakupo. He watched as Dell left, frowning slightly. He couldn't help but feel bad for him. If there was only one person who would give him a chance... Maybe they're just scared of him... he can come off as intimidating. Kaito shrugged and stopped in front of Gakupo. He was curious to what he was going to tell him. "Yes?"

Gakupo watched Dell leave, then turned to Kaito. "Let's set Dell up with someone. There's got to be someone that can understand his...Dellness." Easier said than done, he realized. Was there anyone they knew who had a history of dealing with odd people?

Just then, Rin burst through the door, Len calmly following behind. Gakupo caught Dell staring at the two-no, not Rin...Dell was staring at Len. He also noticed Rin chattering with both Len and the cashier, and Len smiled and said a few words of his own. That was it. "Why don't we set Dell and Len up on a blind date?" he asked Kaito. "They might work well together, and," he motioned to Dell, "Dell seems to like him."

Kaito couldn't help a grin crossing his face. "I think that would work out." he replied. Yeah... it might. Kaito glanced from Len to Dell before directing his attention back to Gakupo. "How do we do it though?"

Gakupo thought for a second. "Hmm...Why don't you talk to Dell, and I'll take care of Len?" He felt like Gumi, always pairing everyone. But he didn't care. It was more important 5o make Dell happy.

Kaito almost cringed. It wasn't that he was scared of Dell, but he found it easier to talk to someone who was more... happy. He shrugged it off. It wasn't Len who had trouble finding love. "I guess I can do that." he smiled. "Wish me luck." he made his way towards the door Dell had left from and Len and Rin had entered through. He pushed it open and cleared his throat. "Dell, can I talk to you?" he requested. The smell of smoke invaded his nostrils. He tried his best to ignore it.

Gakupo headed over to Len and Rin, looking at Kaito over his shoulder. "Good luck," he mouthed, smiling. He went to the Kagamines, who had just gotten a table, and watched Rin jabber on. Len didn't say much, but listened for the most part, which would be good for anyone who went with Dell. He complained a lot. Rin looked up at Gakupo, then slipped off, making some excuse of going to the bathroom. Gakupo ckuckled; it was common knowledge what a huge yaoi fan Rin was. "Mind if I talk to you for a bit?" he asked Len.

Dell was still watching Len as Kaito approached him, thinking of how crappy he was compared to Len. The kid put up with his sister and everyone else peacefully, and all he ever did was complain about everyone else. He wished he had a kind, gentle Len in his life, intead of jerks who made his life harder than it already was. He almost jumped when Kaito spoke, but looked at his friend with a small scowl at being startled. "Yeah, sure," he muttered, taking a puff on his cigarette. "What's up?"

(OOC: I'm going to assume I'm Len for this part so feel free to hit me if that wasn't your intention xD)

Len watched as Rin walked away to "go use the bathroom". He deemed it strange... usually, she would show signs of antsy-ness before scurrying off to the little girl's room. But he wouldn't question it. Rin had her quirks, after all. He shrugged it off and looked up at Gakupo. A tall man, he was. "I don't mind at all." Len smiled slightly. "What do you need?"

Kaito paid no mind to the scowl. "If you're not too busy, would you mind coming back here later?" he asked. How would he execute this? Would he mention meeting somebody or would he keep it a secret? He'd never really set anybody up before. "For good means, of course."

Gakupo took a seat where Rin had been a few minutes nefore. Len had always been such a nice guy, and maybe he could be the one to soften Dell's sourness, or at least bear it. "Well," he began, deciding not to scare off Len by stating the fact that it was a blind date. "Later tonight, me, Kaito and Dell are having a guy's night out here. would you be interested in joining us?" He thought for a further incentive, then added, "it's not much fun with only three people, and it's always more fun with you around." He smiled, hoping this would get him on board.

Dell thought for a second. What could they possibly want him to come here for? They were friends, so it wouldn't be anything too bad. Besides, it wasn't like he was in a relationship and had plans, or something...well, not anymore. "Sure," he said, exhaling smoke. "What time you want me to ne there?"

Len's smile grew. They actually wanted him to be there? If anything, he figured they would have invited one of the older guys. But he wasn't about to argue. Why would he? "Of course, I'd be happy to join you guys." he replied. "It's been a while since I've Hun out with you guys, so this should be fun. What time do you want me to be here?"

Kaito tried not to cough on the smoke. Instead, he focused on how relieved he was that Dell agreed without asking any questions that might have given it away. "Seven. Sometime around then." he smiled. This could work... if Len agrees to go, anyway.

Gakupo smiled almost giving a sigh of relief. Thank God Len wanted to come. Now, what time had Kaito set up with Dell...if he had gotten Dell on board. He quickly glanced over outside and saw Kaito and Dell chatting. "Erm...one second," he told Len, then got up and slipped into the bathroom hallway and sent a text to Kaito: Len is on board. Is Dell? What time did you say?

Dell nodded. "Sure, I'll be there." He had a feeling that he couldn't choke down, that maybe Kaito had something planned for that evening that wasn't truly in good means. "Quick question: who's gonna be there besides us two?" If there was someone else going, it shouldn't be too much to worry about.
