Kaito shook his head. Yuuma probably wouldn't effect the plan they were putting into gear. "He's perfectly fine here. The more, the merrier."

Yuuma breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good. I didn't want to suddenly intrude on you guys or anything. Dell said I wouldn't be, but I couldn't help myself from wondering."

The cafe door opened, revealing Len. He was wearing different clothes from what he was wearing earlier. He didn't want to come off as too... casual, as all he was wearing earlier was just a simple shirt and jeans. Now he was wearing a leather-ish jacket (it was probably vinyl for all he knew), and he changed into some nicer clothes. He spotted the four older males and frowned slightly. Was he late? Or were they all early? It didn't really matter now. He was there. "Hey guys." he greeted, feeling rather short next to all of them.

Gakupo smiled cordially and extended his hand to Yuuma. "It's no problem to have you here," he said, finding it easier to forget his own problems by looking the newcomer over. Yuuma seemed decent, calm and collected, but not as easygoing as Kaito. There was something about him, though, that made Gakupo feel odd...almost as if Yuuma were some sort of answer to something. Shaking that away, he set his mind back to the meeting. "I'm Gakupo Kamui. It's nice to meet you."

Dell bit his lip as Len entered. It was bad for him to want anything romantic with the kid, but it couldn't be helped. Len was wonderful, in all the ways he dreamed of, and Dell envied his peace of mind and wanted it for his own. Trying not to feel any other thoughts on the matter, he turned to Yuuma. "So, guess they don't mind you here after all. And here I was, thinking you were hopeless when it came to other people."

Yeah, I really hate cannon ships. Not only they shoot cannonballs for heavy damage to buildings and infantries, they're also usually naval units, which means they can only be attacked by other naval units. And boy do they destroy other ships easily. Flying units are safe from safe from them, but flying units suck at destroying mechanical units. Cannonships are way too OP, nerfs needed.

Yuuma shook Gakupo's hand. "Pleasure to meet you too, Gakupo." he didn't feel the need to introduce himself, he'd already been introduced by Dell. Speaking of which, he turned to him and laughed. "Yet you still brought me. That's nice of you, Dell."

Len stood there... awkwardly. Nobody had really acknowledged him except Kaito, who grinned at his appearance. He smiled back. What was he thinking, anyway? It wasn't all about him. His eyes scanned around the group, and his gaze locked on Dell. For some reason, he seemed rather... how to put it... on edge almost. He furrowed his eyebrows slightly. It wasn't like him to act that way. Dell was rather intimidating to some people. But not to him. He saw a gentler aspect in him, past the crabby-ness and irritation. Never before has he seen it, but he knew it was there.

Kaito was proud to see Len staring at Dell.
Not really staring, but looking at him for a prolonged period of time. It was a good sign. It brought a smile to his face. "So men," he began. "are we going to get dinner?"

Dell nodded at Yuuma, trying to relax. "Yeah, yeah..." He looked over at Len who just stood there like a lump. And he was...staring at him? It wouldn't hurt to talk to him. After all, they were friends, right? Yeah,he thought sadly. Friends. That's all we are. He came up to the kid and put his arm around his shoulder, attempting to look like a friend without using an excuse to touch him, which it totally was. "Come join us, why don't you?" Ignoring the nervousness he felt, he led Lem over to the gang.

Gakupo smiled, having mostly forgotten about earloer. "Good point. Want to eat here, Yuuma, or go somewhere else? The choice is yours."

Len felt his face redden. But why? All he did was put his arm around him. It was a normal, friendly gesture. He smiled and tried to pretend he didn't let a blush through. "Yeah, sorry about that." he apologized. "I was lost in thought for a sec." he brought his arm up to his mouth and coughed into his sleeve. There was definitely something odd about Dell. He could feel it. Hopefully he wasn't sick or anything... "Are you okay?"

Yuuma clucked his tongue. "Hm... well, there's a good place down the street I like. But I've never eaten here before... Have you?" he asked. The only thing he's had here was coffee. "If the food is good, I don't mind staying here."

Dell cleared his throat nervously as Len noticed his awkward attitude. For crying out loud, he was supposed to be playing it cool around him, not getting all flustered. What was he, a schoolgirl? "Hmm? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Just fine...hey guys!" The pair had caught up. "So uhh...what's the plan for dinner?" To his embarrassment he was still holding on to Len. Dell blushed slightly and dropped his arm.

Gakupo smiled warmly as the two approached. Something was bound to happen between the two, it was inevitable. If only his love life was that simple and sweet..."Oh, Yuuma says he knows a good place, we can head there." It would be nice to head somewhere new for a change.

Meiko walked down the street, singing along with her iphone. It had been a good day, for the most part; she had an interview for a commercial that had gone relatively well, and she wanted to tell her old friends(one who was now her boyfriend) the good news, and invite them to go to the carnival in the mall's parking lot. They hadn't seen much of each other lately, and it would be fun to hang out again. She went into the old cafe they always went to and opened the door, seeing them with Dell, Len, and a new guy she didn't know. "I thought I'd find you here," she said, making her way to the crowd before remembering her manners. "I'm not interrupting anything, right?"

And all at once Kaito's problems came rushing back to him.
Great... just as he thought he had gotten rid of them. His eyes instinctively looked to Gakupo as if he would give him an answer. Technically, they weren't there for him and Gakupo. They were there for Len and Dell. But now they had Meiko to join in on the party. Please, just kill me and pronounce me dead... he cleared his throat to get rid of the giant lump and put on a fake smile. "No, not really. We just weren't expecting you." Yeah. That's a way to put it.

Len felt Dell's arm leave his shoulders. It was odd for him to say that now, they felt empty. He furrowed his eyebrows at his thoughts. Why? It's not like everyone puts their shoulder around him. Was his mind trying to say that it felt natural when Dell did it
...He was over-thinking this way too much.

Gakupo looked at Kaito, sympthazising with the poor guy and feeling just as nervous. With tbe previous events of the day, he was a little apprehensive about seeing Meiko again, it was far too soon. He managed a smile for her, and nodded with Kaito's remark. "Yeah," he said, hugging her a bit oddly. "We were just planning on going to dinner."

Meiko frowned. Sure, it was a bit dissapointing that it was a guy's night out, obviously. Bit it felt almost like...they really didn't want her there. Luckily for her, Meiko had a little way of making people want her. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know. I just wanted to see if you two wanted to hang out at the carnival. But you all can go off, I'll just see if I can't find someone else to go with." Sheloved both her friends, and hated manipulating them, but she wanted to know if they really didn't want her around tonight.

Kaito couldn't help biting his lip. He didn't want to reject her. He had problems saying no to people, and it was evident. When Miku asked him out, he said no to prevent hurt feelings. "The carnival sounds like a lot of fun... but I'm sorry, I can't go tonight. Maybe another time." The thing was, it truly did sound fun to go. But not now. They had plans, and it would be too awkward and nerve-wracking with both Meiko and Gakupo there if they did accept.

Yuuma looked from Kaito, Gakupo, to the female. Her sudden arrival was, well... sudden. What an inconvenient time to ask. He crossed his arms and examined the woman thoroughly. She was an attractive woman, he had to give her that. "If you have no-one to go with, I'll come." he offered without thinking. "I mean, no offense to you guys of course. You guys seem busy anyway. I just tagged along. So if you guys don't mind, and if you don't mind..."

Meiko turned her attention to the new guy. He was hot, she had to admit, but she couldn't go off with some stranger, especially one with pure sex appeal, when her boyfriend rejected going. No, tempting as it was, it just wouldn't be right to treat Gakupo that way. Besides, Kaito seemed really upset, and ruining their night might make him more upset, and she hated when her easygoing friend was hurt, especially by her. "Thanks, but you guys have stuff to do," she said, attempting to sound like the strong, independent woman she normally was. "I can hang out with the girls."

Gakupo looked at both Kaito and Meiko, not sure of what to do. If Meiko stayed, Kaito would be unhappy; if she lrft, she'd be unhappy; and he'd be unhappy in both situations. He decided to handle this in the most noble way he could. "Meiko, why don't I come with you?" He really did want to spend time with both of them, but he couldn't ne with them both anymore. Hopefully, Kaito didn't think he was being chosen over, but Meiko was being neglected.

Kaito's heart sank deep into the floor.
Okay, okay... she was his girlfriend after all. He understood that. But how was he supposed to handle this situation without Gakupo? They planned to do this Len and Dell thing together, but now he was offering to go with Meiko to the carnival. He wasn't sure if he should be irritated or upset, but he felt both feelings.
...But, now that he thought about it... he didn't really need to help Len and Dell get together. Now that they were already talking, it should work out on their own. The job has already been done. Why should he stay? "Excuse me, I need to use the bathroom..." He turned away from them. All he needed was to clear his head. Hopefully nobody was using the bathroom...

Len watched as Kaito left the group and furrowed his eyebrows. If he didn't know better, Meiko's arrival seemed to upset him. Did he not like her? No, wait... he didn't seem upset until Gakupo offered to leave with her to the carnival. Maybe he felt left out? Carnivals were fun, and he knew how much his friend liked them (partly for the plentiful ice cream booths). Unfortunately, he didn't stick around long enough for him to tell. It probably was none of his business anyway. He looked up at Dell and smiled.
...His eyes were a really deep red...

Gakupo watched his friend go, knowing that it was his fault that he was so upset. There was no easy way to handle this situation if he wanyed everyone happy with the outcome. "He's been really sick today, I should go check on him," he told Meiko as he headed off. When she made a move to go, he shook his head. "It's best if just one goes." He headed into the bathroom where he found Kaito, who wasn't the sick people would expect. Walking to him, Gakupo put a hand on his friend's shoulder. "Are you alright?" He asked tenderly.

Meiko watched as her two friends left, and felt a tinge of pure sadness. They acted like they didn't want her there at all, and now they left after Gakupo offered to stay with her. Something must have happened that was her fault, and eben though she couldn't place what exactly it was, she felt her least favorite emotion: guilt. "You know, I can just go with some of the girls," she said in a barely audible voice.

Dell felt eyes on him and looked down into Len's sea-green ones. He seemed completely innocent of what was really going on here. Gakupo, Kaito and Meiko wrre all undergoing sexual tension because they all secretly loved each other. Now that two of them were an item, there were issues. Hey, he'd be glad to take Meiko off their hands, but he was here with Len. And Len was about as oblivious as a kid at a carnival. That's it! Maybe they could all go to that carnival, and work out their crap. And it'd give him a chance to be with Len..."Hey, why don't we all go?" Dell asked, turning away from the hypnotic eyes. "Yuuma wants to go, and if we're all together, the guys shouldn't mind."

Kaito looked up at him and tried to smile. "Yeah. I'm just in here to clear my head. I'll get over it." he bit his lip. Those didn't seem like the best choice of words, especially because they just sort of slipped out. "I mean, you go on ahead with Meiko. I'm sure things will work out between Len and Dell, anyway. Now that they're in the same room and actually talking, there's something bound to happen between them."

Len's eyes lit up at Dell's idea. Sure, he was fourteen, but carnivals were always exciting. "Yeah!" he agreed. "I don't mind that." He realized his level of enthusiasm and cleared his throat. "Of course, if the other three are up for it..."

Gakupo frowned slightly. This was taking a toll on Kaito, that much was obvious. "I want you to come as well. If you were able to join us, then we could all be like friends." As long as all three of them stayed friendly, things would be sure to work out. To prove he still liked Kaito, and to comfort his friend, Gakupo pulled him into a hug. "Yoi don't have to if you don't want," he said softly, "but know that I will be here for you. I promise."

Ooc: Sorry for such a crappy post!

(OOC: No worries. xD)

Kaito returned his hug. "No, you're right... I'll come with you guys." he told him. "Thank you, by the way." Hopefully it wouldn't be that bad. Besides, he loved carnivals, so this was an opportunity he didn't want to miss. With hesitance, he pulled away from his arms. "We should get back to them."
