Meiko nodded, still a bit chilly. It was helping, though; at least the rain and wind wasn't getting on her much anymore. But as her stomach reminded her, there was another problem that would have to be fixed after the ride. "Think we should get something to eat after?" she asked. "The rain might let up after the ride."

Dell came in, sighing slowly in how warm and dry the little place was. "Hmm...let's eat first, I'm starving." There was a little food stand on the side, next to the shoe rentals. "Why don't you go get us a seat, and I'll order. What do you want?" Dell had no intention of letting Len pay tonight. If he wanted to keep this thing going, he'd need to act a bit more decent than he usually would.

Gakupo smiled, genuinely this time. At least Kaito was there for him as he usually was. It made him think of the choice he'd eventually make between the two of his close friends, and his smile faded slightly. Nevertheless he took Kaito's hand, surprised by its warmth even in the weather. "Ready when you are," he said, nodding his consent.

Yeah, I really hate cannon ships. Not only they shoot cannonballs for heavy damage to buildings and infantries, they're also usually naval units, which means they can only be attacked by other naval units. And boy do they destroy other ships easily. Flying units are safe from safe from them, but flying units suck at destroying mechanical units. Cannonships are way too OP, nerfs needed.

Yuuma nodded, remembering that they still haven't had dinner. "Sure." he replied. "Hopefully you're right. As much as I love the rain, right now isn't a great time for it to show up." The line moved slightly, so he moved up as well. They were close to the front of the line now. About two or three people were ahead of them.

Len thought about this for a moment. "I'll just have pizza, I guess." he replied. Unless they were sharing, he hoped it wasn't too big... he didn't want to make Dell pay for something he most likely wouldn't finish. "If you get a drink, I'll just share it with you." It took a few moments to realize what he'd just said, and hastily added, "I-I mean, if you don't mind that, and if you're thirsty, because you can't get a drink if you're not thirsty..."

Kaito braced himself and stepped out from under the tent. Almost instantly, he was pelted with rain. He flinched, but tried his best to ignore it. They just needed to get out of there as soon as possible. Gakupo's place wasn't far from here, as it only took about two or three minutes last time... if they hurry, they might not be out for long. He hurried his pace, hoping to get there quickly.

Dell grinned at Len's little slip-up. He wasn't a huge romantic himself, but it would be cheaper to share. What were they scared of, cooties? "Sure," he said. There was no line at the food stand, so he could just grab their food there. He walked up and placed the order: a large soda, a dlice of pizza, some nachos..."and two ice creams." Len would probably like one anyway-he was just being considerate or something. As the meal was prepared, he looked over to their table and waved.

Gakupo headed out with Kaito, grimacing as the rain crashed down over the two. His home was near here, but it would still be hell until they got there. In fact, he could feel the water seeping through his clothes. It wasn't a fun feeling. So he ran a bit ahead, pulling Kaito with him. Anything to escape the downpour...

Len looked up from the table and waved back. He... he actually went through with it? Not that it was really a surprise, though. They were... dating now, after all. The thought made his stomach flutter with butterflies and a smile lit his face. It wasn't something he was used to. Rin was extremely against sharing anything with him, but she insists she didn't believe in cooties. But this was something he could definitely get used to.

Kaito nearly tripped over his own feet at the sudden change in speed, but regained his footing. He really wanted to get out of the rain, too... Goosebumps rose on his arms and he shuddered, hoping to get inside sometime soon.

Dell finally got their food, then paid the bill and looked at it. Okay, so it was a lot of stuff to carry on one's own, but in one trip, it could get done, right? So Dell piled the pizza, naxhos, soda and ice cream onto his arms and made his way over while trying to be careful about tripping. He set everything down on the table as a scowl attempting to overshadow a blush formed on his face. "I got some ice cream for us," he muttered, looking away. "You don't mind, right?" Honestly, all he cared about was getting Len to smile and appreciate it. That smile could cure any heartaches he had ever suffered.

Gakupo continued running, squinting his eyes to shield them from the rain. He opened them slightly as he saw a familiar building ahead. Thank God, they were almost there! With the last of his strength, the samurai got Kaito and himself into the apartment complex. He leaned on the wall, panting heavily and soaking wet. Well, at least they were away from the storm.

Len grinned. "I don't mind at all!" he told him. Just the fact that he'd gotten something that he hadn't asked for and thought he'd like made him happier. It may sound cheesy, but... could this night get any better? "Thank you, I appreciate it." he gently tugged on his sleeve, as if to somehow tell him he wanted Dell to sit by him.

Kaito breathed heavily, letting go of Gakupo's hand. He was forever thankful that they were under a roof now, but... "You didn't have to overexert yourself." he smiled sympathetically. "I don't like the rain either, but I'd prefer it if we were soaking wet than tired." But he didn't blame him, either. The rain was monstrous.

Dell returned Len's smile with one of his own-well an attempt of his own. It was one of the problems with being naturally snarky-when something made you truly happy, it became hard to express. Seeing that Len wanted him to sit down, Dell did so, and handed him one of the ice creams. "It's not exactly the weather for this..." he muttered. Oh God, he couldn't look at Len too long. It was too good to be true that he had actually found someone like him. Dell, feeling embarrased, looked away and began eating his ice cream. ¥i]Man, I'm a frigging idiot...[/i] he thought, though it wasn't really an insult. For once, Dell found he was laughing at himself in a way.

Gakupo turned his head over to Kaito and smiled. "Well, as long as we got as little drenched as possible...I think we're okay." Why was it so hard to move his head? Oh, of course. His hair was wet. That was one of the main reasons Gakupo hated rain..."I think I'll be needing a blowdryer," he muttered as his hair started creating a giant puddle in the lobby. "Let's head up to my room now." The samurai pulled himself from the wall, and with some effort, headed up the stairs.

"Oh, don't worry about it." Len assured him, bringing his ice cream closer to him. "It's never a bad time for ice cream; besides, since it's from you, I'd eat it in a heartbeat." Wow. He was just so smile-y tonight. It's not like he could help it. Was it natural? Or was it something else? Oh well, it's not like it mattered. He took a spoonful of his ice cream and ate it right up, forgetting that there was other food on the table...

Kaito laughed-- no, giggled at both his comment and how Gakupo walked. It was only natural his long hair would be like an anchor weighing down on him when he was wet. How he managed to get around like that was something to think about. He rushed to catch up with him, ascending the stairs behind him. "How long does it take to dry your hair?" He asked. Half of his intention was to make conversation, the other half was genuinely curious.

Dell gripped his pamt leg with his hand at Len's comment. Really, did the kid have to say something like that? He was having enough problems with his attitude adjustments! "Glad you like it," he finally muttered, going instead to his nachos. Len really did act boyish, going for the ice cream first. It was seriously charming.

Despite the groeing discomfort, Gakupo smiled at his friend and chuckled. "Eh...about twenty minutes, if blow drying. Naturally, it takes longer." The look on Kaito's face at that piece of information would be priceless. "I put far too much effort into my hair...more than most women I know."

Len laughed a bit. If he said this out loud, Dell would probably maul him, but he was acting rather... cute, you could say. He practically scarfed down his ice cream, only stopping because he had a major brain freeze. He didn't need to have a mirror to know his face was covered in ice cream. It was embarrassing, but he had to ask... "Dell, did you get any napkins?" he asked, looking up at him, while at the same time trying to look away.

Kaito gaped. Well, it was no surprise... he had really long hair. But wow. "You must have incredible patience, then." he chuckled a bit. He couldn't ever imagine having hair that long... That hairstyle wouldn't compliment him well.

Dell looked at Len's ice cream covered face and instantly felt a blush come on. Why did the kid have to be so cute?! "Oh yeah, uh I'll go, uh get the uh...yeah." He looked down and rushed off, and without looking bumled into a trash can, knocking a tray onto the grounx. Turning entirely red he picked it up while muttering a few colorful curses, then grabbed some napkins and ran back, all that time not looking directly at Len. Too embarrassed to look up, Dell extended a few to him.

Gakupo smiled at the idea. "I guess with hair like this, it's required." Having reached the fifth floor, his floor, the violet-haired man walked towards his apartment. "How are you doing?" he asked his friend as they went. Honestly, this rain had completely changed the whole course of the evening-actually, this whole day had been crazy to start with. Maybe finally getting home would help that.

As much as he tried, Len couldn't hold back the giggle that escaped his lips. What had caused that? Either way, it was kind of cute. But he couldn't tell Dell that, considering his personality. "Thanks." he gratefully took the napkins and wiped his face with them. They would still leave his face somewhat sticky... but that wasn't much of a problem. He could just wipe it off with water later. "Are you okay?" Len asked curiously. He did bump into the trash can, after all.

Kaito laughed at this, being grateful that he didn't have long hair. He wouldn't look good with it, anyway... Only Gakupo could pull it off. Then a question came up. How was he doing? "Well, aside from being pretty soaked, I'm doing great." he replied, chuckling lightly. He didn't mind rain when he was inside. Usually he had an umbrella with him if he was going out in it. But this came totally out of nowhere. Plus, they never got their ice cream...

Dell ended up turning even redder, having a few problems with forming a literate sentence. "Well, yeah, I just, uh...y'know, I...slipped... He looked down at his shoes, which had suddenly become interesting and noteworthy. Actually, he'd rather look at anything else but the kid opposute him. "So, uh...the ice crwam? It's good?" Conversation could have the potential to save tonight.

The pair finally reached the apartment, and Gakupo unlocked the door. "Well, now we can dry off," he said triumphantly, swinging the door open. He took a few steps in and revelled in the heat. He looked over at his bluehaired friend, who seemed down for some reason. The rain, maybe, had gotten to him? "We're about the same size, right? You can borrow some of my clothes." He shook his head, his damp hair making it difficult.
