Dell came in, sighing slowly in how warm and dry the little place was. "Hmm...let's eat first, I'm starving." There was a little food stand on the side, next to the shoe rentals. "Why don't you go get us a seat, and I'll order. What do you want?" Dell had no intention of letting Len pay tonight. If he wanted to keep this thing going, he'd need to act a bit more decent than he usually would.
Gakupo smiled, genuinely this time. At least Kaito was there for him as he usually was. It made him think of the choice he'd eventually make between the two of his close friends, and his smile faded slightly. Nevertheless he took Kaito's hand, surprised by its warmth even in the weather. "Ready when you are," he said, nodding his consent.

Len thought about this for a moment. "I'll just have pizza, I guess." he replied. Unless they were sharing, he hoped it wasn't too big... he didn't want to make Dell pay for something he most likely wouldn't finish. "If you get a drink, I'll just share it with you." It took a few moments to realize what he'd just said, and hastily added, "I-I mean, if you don't mind that, and if you're thirsty, because you can't get a drink if you're not thirsty..."
Kaito braced himself and stepped out from under the tent. Almost instantly, he was pelted with rain. He flinched, but tried his best to ignore it. They just needed to get out of there as soon as possible. Gakupo's place wasn't far from here, as it only took about two or three minutes last time... if they hurry, they might not be out for long. He hurried his pace, hoping to get there quickly.

Gakupo headed out with Kaito, grimacing as the rain crashed down over the two. His home was near here, but it would still be hell until they got there. In fact, he could feel the water seeping through his clothes. It wasn't a fun feeling. So he ran a bit ahead, pulling Kaito with him. Anything to escape the downpour...

Kaito nearly tripped over his own feet at the sudden change in speed, but regained his footing. He really wanted to get out of the rain, too... Goosebumps rose on his arms and he shuddered, hoping to get inside sometime soon.

Gakupo continued running, squinting his eyes to shield them from the rain. He opened them slightly as he saw a familiar building ahead. Thank God, they were almost there! With the last of his strength, the samurai got Kaito and himself into the apartment complex. He leaned on the wall, panting heavily and soaking wet. Well, at least they were away from the storm.

Kaito breathed heavily, letting go of Gakupo's hand. He was forever thankful that they were under a roof now, but... "You didn't have to overexert yourself." he smiled sympathetically. "I don't like the rain either, but I'd prefer it if we were soaking wet than tired." But he didn't blame him, either. The rain was monstrous.

Gakupo turned his head over to Kaito and smiled. "Well, as long as we got as little drenched as possible...I think we're okay." Why was it so hard to move his head? Oh, of course. His hair was wet. That was one of the main reasons Gakupo hated rain..."I think I'll be needing a blowdryer," he muttered as his hair started creating a giant puddle in the lobby. "Let's head up to my room now." The samurai pulled himself from the wall, and with some effort, headed up the stairs.

Kaito laughed-- no, giggled at both his comment and how Gakupo walked. It was only natural his long hair would be like an anchor weighing down on him when he was wet. How he managed to get around like that was something to think about. He rushed to catch up with him, ascending the stairs behind him. "How long does it take to dry your hair?" He asked. Half of his intention was to make conversation, the other half was genuinely curious.

Despite the groeing discomfort, Gakupo smiled at his friend and chuckled. "Eh...about twenty minutes, if blow drying. Naturally, it takes longer." The look on Kaito's face at that piece of information would be priceless. "I put far too much effort into my hair...more than most women I know."

Kaito gaped. Well, it was no surprise... he had really long hair. But wow. "You must have incredible patience, then." he chuckled a bit. He couldn't ever imagine having hair that long... That hairstyle wouldn't compliment him well.

Gakupo smiled at the idea. "I guess with hair like this, it's required." Having reached the fifth floor, his floor, the violet-haired man walked towards his apartment. "How are you doing?" he asked his friend as they went. Honestly, this rain had completely changed the whole course of the evening-actually, this whole day had been crazy to start with. Maybe finally getting home would help that.

Kaito laughed at this, being grateful that he didn't have long hair. He wouldn't look good with it, anyway... Only Gakupo could pull it off. Then a question came up. How was he doing? "Well, aside from being pretty soaked, I'm doing great." he replied, chuckling lightly. He didn't mind rain when he was inside. Usually he had an umbrella with him if he was going out in it. But this came totally out of nowhere. Plus, they never got their ice cream...

The pair finally reached the apartment, and Gakupo unlocked the door. "Well, now we can dry off," he said triumphantly, swinging the door open. He took a few steps in and revelled in the heat. He looked over at his bluehaired friend, who seemed down for some reason. The rain, maybe, had gotten to him? "We're about the same size, right? You can borrow some of my clothes." He shook his head, his damp hair making it difficult.
