According to Anime Expo's facebook, they've been given a lot of questions about if Miku would return to Anime Expo this year. The answer is no. But they did got word from Cyrpton and Sega that they may possibly bring Miku and friends back in 2013.

This would be amazing! I'd finally get an actual chance to see the concert live, and I'd be able to try to convince my parents if it actually was a year away. There'd be plenty of time to plan (and buy the ticket) beforehand. Although I'd prefer it to be on the East Coast this time…

Anime Expo is located in California Los Angeles.
I'm glad Miku isn't coming back this year. We need that spot for another band. We already had Miku last year, It'd be boring if she'd came back, IMO
