[Kangaroo]

RULES:
1. One entry per person
2. Covers are NOT allowed. The songs must be original. This means no USTs.
3. DO NOT steal. Make your own songs, don't take ones from Nico Nico or YouTube.
4. You may use any Vocaloid or UTAU you wish, and the song can be in any language.
5. Songs must have been created specifically for the contest.

I think the last contest went fairly well, so I have high hopes for this one. I'll be competing too, this time, under single UTAU.

Songs should be turned in by July 6th (date subject to change). We also need five judges.

I think that single and multiple Vocaloid/UTAU should be grouped together, seeing the low turnout of choruses in the last contest. It's really not much of a competition with just 2 people making songs for them.

I'll be joining and finishing this time under Single Vocaloid, seeing as it's during the summer! Can't wait to see how this turns out.

...Also, I think it may be a cool idea to put all the songs from the last contest together in a video, a la Special Vocaran style. =D

I have Sony Vegas, maybe I could help out with the video parts? I also know a lot of people who use After Effects, so if anyone needs any help with PVs, I can possibly help with that.

All you would need to do is string a few seconds of each song together with a banner around them like in the weekly vocaloid ranking with the person's username and the title of the song. If you could do it that would be awesome. :D

When would the judging start? Because as long as its after my AP exam on may 9th, (which I imagine it would be) I'd like to judge. Although i should ask, what is involved with the judging? I assume the judges listen to and somehow rate/vote on the entries?

Sure, sounds easy enough. When do I have to have it done by and if I were to do it, is it for the last contest's winners? (have they been announced yet, I didn't really keep track of the first one?)

Ah, thank you so much. It would be for the last competition, yes. All of the songs are in the OP of the first competition thread, and the winners were already announced, it's on the last page of the old thread. You don't have to get it done by any specific time, there's no rush.

Judging won't be until after the competition's end date, which is set for July, so you're good. I'll add you.

Haha I was worried about the category I'd enter in because I didn't know whether I was gonna use UTAU or vocaloid...But I'll just enter in chorus again! Ha! Awesome~~~

it's because my first instinct after making a song is to slap more voices on for some reason


not because people don't enter in it


Maybe this will encourage more people to use UTAU, because they have a friendily-avaliable option of including a UTAU in their songs with their vocaloid
