How do you range the Engloids/ what do you think they sound best in?
(I know E-Capsule gave some recomendations, but I think it'd be wiser to get feedback from various users/ listeners.)

I tend to use Sonika and Oliver high around G3 (Oliver's voice works like that of a female's bank) likewise, Tonio sounds squeaky when he goes too high.

Now I've heard people use Oliver, Tonio, and Big Al pretty low, and they can sound great low, but what is generally preferred?
Same-wise with Sweet Ann, Sonika, and Prima. They can sound great High sometimes, but do you prefer them lower?

Probably worded this confusingly, sorry

Depends on the Configuration you give them
I have 3 each for Tonio and Prima but I use Baritone and Mezzo-soprano the most (basically average range)
for Prima I usually go from F4 to E3 and with Tonio F3 to E2

It really depends on configuration. I have at least 2 for Sweet Ann and 2 for Big Al.

I had to literally hunt and peck a good configuration for Sweet Ann. I tend to use her in the C1 range because I like how youthful/deep she sounds as a male. Otherwise as a female I use her around C3-C4.

I never use Big Al for very high notes, unless I genderbend him. I can't remember which ranges I tend to use him at, but I tend to use his deeper tones. I'm still trying to find a configuration for him for his very deep notes.

Hmmmm well that is kind of tough but I almost always use Al from E1 to about B2ish (I find anything above C3 he starts to get the nut kicking syndrome unless you heavily edit his character settings), Sonika I find tends to have two ranges the first is from B2 to about G#3, and her second range is about A3 to G4 but you have to remember she will have glitches show up in this range, I haven't done a lot of testing with Sweet Ann but She is one of my lower Females and can handle the mid C2 range fairly well, and Luka well she has a given range that works but I recommend mixing her Japanese bank and english and making her sound more british because her {, @ and V seem kind of weak compared to her Q which is pretty much the same as her japanese a.

If I may suggest, the higher or lower you put the Vocaloid, the higher or lower you move the gender bend. (Only when it's out of their natural range)
It makes them feel sound a bit more confident in my opinion /w\
Listen on Soundcloud.com
In this example, the first 3 notes were normal, but on the last one I put down his gender bend a bit (I should of put it back up more towards the end of the note, but this was just a test after all) and his scream sounds... non-robotic >~>

You can apply this to with Sonika when her notes go above C4 (At least I do)

@High, I don't think I've heard Sweet Ann in that low of a range before ;A; (are there any examples?)

^ I had a slightly insane configuration for Sweet Ann's genderbend. It made these really weird sounds and scared my cats and dad. I might make a video when I need tips on how to genderbend her better, so I can give an example of what she sounds like. I don't really recommend going that low.

That actually sounds really good! *A*
However, it also sounds like it can be very unstable at the same time o~o, I can see what High was going with ;~;
But it'd still be nice to see more like this from her /w\'

I try to keep things realistic, so i just use the normal range real singers sing at.
