I wanted to ask about this for some time.When I first saw them on the avatar of SF-A2 Miki's arms and legs(especially her joints),I thought she was a robot or an android as they make her limbs look like somehow fused to her body.So what do you guys think?

Actually I thought it was pretty neat!

It gives her a pretty sharp edge design-wise.

They just look like doll joints.

I've seen real dolls with the same kind of joint like designs.

Also, my general first impressions of her were like;

I thought she was adorable and I also thought Kiyoteru looked awesome.

I always thought they were joints too, some sort of doll or android. I love them, and design-wise Miki is still high up there as one of my favourites.

At first I thought they were markings/tattoos because she was supposed to be an alien or something. ((I remember reading somewhere that she was supposed be space-related))

But, I guess it turns out they are joints, which is still pretty cool. :Miki:

I thought that 1) it made her look like a doll and 2) they were creepy. I still hate them.

I thought "Oh god such a cute design ruined for me by doll joints". I've just got this thing about doll joints (or whatever you would call hers), although it's more the old fashioned ball joints that really weird me out. She's still cute, but those lines are hard to look past for me. Just my own personal quirk/hangup and not a problem with the design in any objective sense, insofar as such a thing can ever be objective anyway.

I've always thought of them as robot joints, not doll joints. In fact, this is the first time I've heard of the latter possibility.

I used to be indifferent towards them, but lately they're starting to creep me out a bit...

I always thought of them as a sort of Tattoo but looking at them now I have to go with Robot joints cause it makes since now especially considering her full name is "Science Fiction-Artist Vocaloid2 Miki"

since it says "Science Fiction" in her name I think of the Future( where robots exist ) so i'm gonna go with "Robot joints".

EDIT: I screwed up its "Artist" not "Android"
