Kay, I finished downloading/patching Genius of Sappheiros (hopefully I did it correctly), but whenever I run it, I recieve Window's good ol' error message a little after Reimu's third line. Tried reinstalling, and I got as far as Yukari showing up before it did so again. Help appreciated, thanks.

Btw,
I am using Applocale.
I am running it in compatibility mode (I have Windows XP) unless I'm mistaken, and Windows 2000 isn't the same as XP?
I did try Windows 95, as well.

Minor Edit: Tried a couple more times, seems to be random but within about 30 seconds of starting the game before it crashes.

Sorry if this is a dead thread, but I'm having problems. How do I find and download the demo to Touhou 6? I tried going through the website but had a heck of a time trying to find it. Is there even one?

Good luck finding it like he said. It's probably not even being circulated anymore since it's so old and the game's full version is out. Good luck buying the game though if it's not that much of a hassle for you.

Ah well, worth a try. Plus I found a few sites on the Touhou wiki that sell it, so I should be fine.

I'm not a fan of pirating either, but you could just pirate the game and buy it if you like it or just delete it if you don't.

That still feels like pirating to me (I grew up in a very conservative community), so I'll wait. Plus, it's Touhou. Despite only playing the Touhou 13 demo, I doubt I will hate it.

Pirating is if you download the game and keep it forever with out paying for it.

Well let me shed some light on things since Ring is so bad at it.

I think in regards to Touhou. ZUN doesn't care if people outside of Japan pirate it, mostly for the fact that he just doesn't have the funds to put it out to any other place besides of Japan. Not to mention he can't speak English or anything anyway.

Well, that was just my two cents, I just couldn't stand Ring's crappy logic there.

What I meant was that you could just just download the full game and then buy it officially if you like it, or just throw it away if you don't. It would be no different then if you downloaded the demo.
