This is a thread for asking questions. Sure, you can just Google it, but where's the fun in that?
No silly questions, please.
Ex:
  • VO, how do you open a jar of pickles?

Here's my question: (Yes, it's what I just asked in my status) VO, how does one become a psychologist/what does a psychologist do?

Also: You can ask personal things.
Ex:
  • VO, what is your job/ what do you want to be when you grow up?

Edit: For cleaning clutter

Lotta school and hard work to be a psychologist.

Mostly psychologists study mental disorders and try to help people that have them through therapy and referring them to outside sources.

Most people confuse psychiatrists and psychologists.

Psychologists are the people that say "you're not that crazy. If you talk about it it will help."
Psychiatrists are like "yeah, you're crazy, here's some pills."

My psychiatrist did a hell of a lot more talking than he did dishing out pills (in fact, he talks so much I don't see him anymore)

Questions that have been killing me since forever:

  • Does it hurt the deer when they shed their velvet?
  • You always see squirrels around, but have you ever actually seen them poop? Do they go in trees or something? It's kinda of weird, there are always a ton of squirrels around but I've never seen any squirrel waste ever.
  • Why is most roadkill on the sides of the road? Minus the ones that are just a stream of flattened guts in the middle of the road, most of the ones that actually still look like animals are always dead on the sides. I doubt every animal knows to get off the road and then just dies neatly on the side, so does someone move them? If someone moves the roadkill why can't they just get rid of it entirely? WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS ON THE SIDES OF THE ROAD?!

^ I know number 3! Amd yeah, someone moves it so that the circle of life can continue without the worry of other animals being harmed by going in the road,

That #3... Has me stumped. I also tend to wonder why there's lots of birds there.

As for #2... What about snakes?

We don't have a lot of snakes here. I've seen...maybe 2 or 3 garter snakes here, and I've been living her for like 18 years. Squirrels though...we have squirrels out the ass.

Oh, and thanks Snake. I can rest partially easy now. Is it a job or can any average Joe who cares enough move them?

From Dr. Google, Just because I really wanted to know :P

Quote

Squirrels are like girls, you see them everywhere but there seems to be no evidence that they poop. Squirrel poop is a rare commodity. No one ever smells it, steps in it or even sees it.

Despite the lack of evidence, squirrels do poop. Their droppings are extremely small, roughly 5 mm, smaller than the size of a raisin. We have pasted a picture below so you can get a sense of the size.

Sneaky
Additional factors contribute to the mystery of the vanishing poop. First, squirrels can poop on the run, so their droppings are spread out and do not accumulate into large piles.

Second, they often poop while high up in a tree or inside the hollow of a tree or stump. This means that most squirrel poop never even has the chance to enter our daily field of vision.

Finally, squirrel poop is light brown in color making it very difficult to spot in the soil.

If you are among the few that will encounter squirrel poop consider yourself lucky‚ It’s like finding a four leaf clover in the form of a small smelly raisin.Posted Image

I was thinking about this question before I went to sleep last night: What's the best way to wash your back without someone else doing it?

Be flexible like me.

I can reach over my shoulder to get the first half of my back, then under to get the lower section.

Here's a question for the ages:
which is the best way to pull the toilet paper from? From over the top, or behind and under? I've always been an under and around kind of guy.

Bonus question: Do other areas of the earth that aren't part of the United States have black fridays?

For me, over. If someone puts it under, I HAVE to change it.
Bonus: ....Can't answer, never been out of America.
