That time of the month... totally sucks.

Lovely subject indeed.
Mine are awful. I can't stand them. I end up PMSing a week or two before my period, and I end up getting extremely emotional(I get short-tempered and really sad.). Heck I even cry for no reason. ;_; I also get this weird craving for most of the time chocolate. But it does change from time to time to other things like ice-cream, or cookies, or even iced tea or a specific kind of drink. =A=
As for cramps, mine get pretty bad. The only way I can really describe it is well, it feels like someone or something is stabbing me from the inside and they want out. ;-; My mother says walking helps but I've tried excersizing and that does shit(Infact it makes it worse. -.-). Having a bath seems to help though. But once out of the bath...my period cramps kick back into motion and are worse than before.
All in all I'll take a pill normally but they only help reduce the pain. e-e;
As for pads and tampons.
Lucky me. 8D I'm one of those rare few people allergic to penicilin. My mother too was allergic to penicilin, so it doesn't surprise me that I'm allergic to it either. But basically, according to my doctor I can not use tampons, due to the fact I will go into TSS(Toxic Shock Syndrome) if I do. (This also happened to my mother when she first used a tampon so again not surprised.). Apparently because of my allergy, I also get heavier periods. 8D;;
tl;dr shit sux.

THIS. Badly. I have that feeling to. And it's making me so pissed that I want to take a knife or something sharp and stab myself just to end it.
And strangely enough, all you people wrote something about chocolate and all. 8|
Seems that I don't get that feeling, I don't even eat like hell when I'm PMSing.
Oh well. Each to their own, I suppose.
Also it irritates me that guys in school, every time a girl is nervous/neurotic/man/angry etc, they go all "PMS shit"
They make me want to slap them >8|
Like dude, give us a break!

My sister will go out of her way to make me miserable when she is on her's. I get to deal with a week of being hit, yelled at, screamed at, threatened with death, and things she couldn't even really do to me, like getting me kicked out of the house. She'll also occasionally throw things at me. That's while she's on the pill to keep her hormones in check.
I also got some of the symptoms by being an empath and having a girlfriend with particularly heavy cramping, so ladies...I do know what you go through, and I wish there was anything I could do to help you!

@ Minomino: sycophancying (I don't know if I spelled it right, so..) Anyway, it means kissing in someones butt just to get something or not getting hurt. :3
And for the guys part, I meant pricks. A woman can't be angry at something and that the guys go all "Jesus Christ, why are you all PMSing about?"

I hate when people accuse a girl of PMS-ing when they aren't. Do we not have a right to be angry/sad/etc when we aren't on the rag? Seriously? It really aggrevates and grinds my gears when men/male individuals act like that.

(Complicated shit; but I am a carrier to this blood disease thing passed down from my dad's side of the family, only the females can get it(Basically it causes my sisters, myself and any girl from my dad's side to have a better chance at getting strokes
Besides I don't want to have random period occurences. >< That wouldn't be good in the long run.

I was all like "Is this ok? Normal? I'm confused. *is worried sick*", then in school, in April I went to the bathroom during English class. When I closed myself in that little cell with a puny toiler and saw my panties all bloody, I literally started shouting "Yes! Oh my God! Thank you!" XD
Oh my lord the same thing is happening to me right now ;w; I was really worried. My cousin told my she had a cyst in her ovaries or something and she didnt get her period for half a year. I freaked out and asked her if she had to get surgery to remove the cyst. She said "No, it just goes away when your period comes back". I told my mom and OF COURSE her first reaction is "Have you been having sex?" I said no >.> Then she told me that it was nothing to worry about. So i'm not that worried anymore, but i wont be relieved until my period finally comes.
I get my first period when i was eleven. Well officially, when i was ten i bled a little but then it didnt happen again for a year. I got it at home, i wasexcited "Finally im all grown up!" I was very naive.
I usually get my period for a week, though it starts ending around the 5th day. I get bloated, and more moody than usual. I dont get bad cramps, usually just a little pain, but if i take Pamprin it goes away. I hate heavy bleeding though ;.; Especially during school cause then i have to rush to the bathroom between classes to change my pad. Yes, pad. I refuse to use tampons, i dont want to stick anything up my vagina thank you. Maybe when im older and more comfortable with it, probably not.
So yes, periods suck. But its necessary and one of the things we cant do anything about. I'm seriously considering taking the pill in a few years, i never really know when my periods gonna come, so it wouldnt be much of a difference. (my periods are usually regular but i forget to mark the date and figure out when the next when is going to attack).
I read somewhere that women who spend a lot of time together sometimes get their periods together, like their reproductive systems synch to each other. I thought this was weird, but obviously true since my mother and i get our periods around the same time.

I remember once when I started my period so suddenly at school and the nurse didnt have any pads which annoyed the hell out of me because females exist at my school we need some help with our periods sometimesssss. Ugh, I dont like school nurses anymore.

And using a pad is perfectly normal, I think most of girls use pads in the world than tampons, really xD; But I may be wrong. I also don't want to stick something inside myself. Maybe much much later in the future when I won't be that much of a virgin anymore (if you know what I mean >_> )
Haha.
I also never date when I gett a period or when does it ends. xD; I never had the need to do it. Oh well, each to their own, I suppose.

Oh and i meant the date on the calendar xD Like being able to know around the time your period should come. Mine is mastered in the element of surprise xD Oh lord, the day i have to go on a date with a period should be interesting.
And maybe, im just hoping it doesnt. Surgery, like many other things, scares me. I probably dont have a cyst, this happened before, i have a irregular period i suppose.
