I want to make one.

So I did. There's the sized down version because Tinypic and image hosting sites are pricks. If you want it, just ask.

Why am I doing this? Because I want to advertise Vocaloid Otaku on as many pages as I can. I want to see this forum get big, and not with JOINLEAVE numbers, but active members.

Comparing numbers here. Animesuki... Well it has 100 thousand members which is LOTS but only 5 thousand active member-wait a second. That's still a hell of a lot.

Compared to us with 6 thousand at max?... And we still only had at max a few hundred active members (which by ratio is about the same). Ah fuck it. I just want to see VO become the actual center of the English Vocaloid Fandom.

Right now, Vocaloidism does a better job of it with 100 or so members.

It is currently 1920 wide, which is the largest resolution that most people use, although larger exist. Simply center it and then you'll be able to line up the elements as you see.

My youtube background used to be my old Gaia profile photos. But now it has nothing cause what's the point? Everytime stupid ass youtube updates it keeps deleting it so I have to set it back up and that gets really annoying really fast.

But anyways, if anyone wants to make some of their own, there are few things to note.

YouTube centers the picture in your background, and if you click repeat, it does exactly that. If you have an 800x600 screen and it looks pretty to you, it won't look good one bit to the people with 1920px wide screens.

So make it 1920px wide, and however long you want. Doesn't matter. I find it easier to make one side at a time, one side being 960 px wide, and having nothing in 480 pixels of it (which will eventually become the center).

Add whatever to the other side and yay. You're good now.

Doesn't matter if you can't see the entire photo or whatever in a smaller format, just keep most of the image details closer to the middle than to the far edge.

And then you're doing well. (Hell. There is something with me and repeating certain phrases...)

And before I go, I need to know a couple things.

What mood or tone do you want the colours? And what would you like as an accent color?

Accent colour isn't mandatory but a tone would be nice.

Warm/Cold, Dark/Light, Bright/Dull, Exciting/Simple.

Also, if you tell me your monitor size, I can make it look nicest for your screen.

Finally.

There ya go. I can change the colour scheme if you wish (although this one is light to match the girl)

Default is pink, and the one I worked in, but any other colour would be changeable.

Pink
Blue
Grey
Purple
Green
Red

The hardest colours to change it too would be a yellow... That would require some extra work. Otherwise I'm fine.


Only cost for using this (if you do) is that you'll become an advertisement for VO and my name is set up there.

The background colour must be white, and it's preferable that there is no Wrapper or boxes underneath text.

Best Text colour is the darkest black.

If you want, I can shorten the image so the quality can be higher (that's a 70% jpg due to the file size limit)

Request at will. Sig banner are fairly quick most of the time... Only an hour. These are done in about 2.

Things I need to know are:

Mood
Tone
Any material you want on it.

By mood, I mean these:
Warm/Cold, Dark/Light, Bright/Dull, Exciting/Simple.
It's warm OR cold. Dark OR Light and etc.


By tone, I want a couple colour schemes and an accent colour if not a colour scheme
