Honestly, I don't see why people would hate it, I mean, you could find it boring, but not horribad to the point of hating.

It's one of the most slice-of-life anime you'll ever get, to the point that it relates to 90% of people that actually watch it. Because I found it so relatable is why I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Not to mention Lucky Stars' comedy relied heavily from referencing other shows. You won't find it funny unless you know references.

It's not a flame, but rather a suggestion, keep on watching both of them. Guilty Crown's plot picks up around episode 12 or 13, if past those episodes you guys still hate it, then yeah.
Regarding BRS, it's just 8 episodes, so dropping it because of 1 terrible episode and another episode that was batshit insane, seems kinda pointless.

You can always apply the 3 episode rule, but sometimes said rule fails cause a series may pick up somewhere in the middle and turn into something interesting.

Like how the real plot of Katekyo Hitman Reborn! started at like, episode 20? lol. I only watched the first 10 or so episodes of Guilty Crown, may pick it up again soon since I just finished Madoka Magica.

I watched GC until ep 3...but I just can't stand the characters. They're just too annoying and retarded for me. I ended dropping it and go for another better anime.

Watched BRS ep 1-2 as well... And from 2 episodes, the only good thing is the action scenes... The actual stories.. Too much illogical melodrama.. Not to mention the characters behavior...

In terms of anime I don't like, it's really DBZ and Naruto, I'm not calling them bad, I'm just saying I couldn't get into them.

Tiger & Bunny - I tried. I seriously tried multiple times, but I could not figure out what the plot was supposed to be besides heroes on a TV show. I'd like some form of interesting plot at least two episodes in, and I got nothing. Plus, the mix of CG suits and anime faces was a complete turn-off to me. It just didn't look good together. I'm not going to hate anyone for enjoying it, but I just couldn't stand those aspects.

Claymore - Nice style, but damn, Raki was really annoying. I may try again one day, since the genre tickled my fancy, but I dislike it for the reason that kid. Those kids who decide that someone's friend cannot die by their hand even though they want it and it'd be better get on my nerves. Interfering.

Madoka Magica - Or however it's spelt. The shape of those faces. I found those to be a real annoying sort of thing. And I guess I have grown out of anything with girls in frilly outfits except for nostalgia reasons.

I can second the motion of the characters being retarded as shit on the first season, but on the second part (past episode 12 or so) they do a 180º turn and lots of great moments happen, some of them were just predictable from the start.

I hate Panty and Stocking. Hate it. It's shallow and gross and stupid and I cannot figure out for the life of me why it's so popular.
As for simply disliking:

Death Note. I love the manga, but it just does not transfer well into an anime. You can't make someone writing in a journal look exciting, even if they are killing people by doing it. Dramatizing it just makes it look silly. Same with the potato chips and the reveal at the end, with Light flailing around like a loon.

The Melancholy of Suzimiya Haruhi. I want to like it, I want it to be good! I mean, I love the idea behind it and I even liked the fact that Haruhi was such a bitch...until she kept on being a complete bitch. There is, like, no character development going at all. In the end, only Kyon remained likable.

Hetalia. I hate the fandom, but the show itself isn't bad; it just got boring pretty fast.

And most shounen stuff I'm just not interested in.

I actually liked the ending, it showed how psycho he really was. And some of the journal parts were overly dramatic, but I didn't think they were silly. But to each his own.
