You have a really solid range Kata, really hard to tell that all the voices were done by the same person.

You're fake Battousai was the best out of the performance, a lot of energy and sounded very intimidating.
Your Kenshin sounded a lot like the dub's Kenshin, but you sounded either very tired or very bored at the time of recording.
And your extras did their job. Also, might wanna lower the music's volume a bit, at times it overpowered your voice and made it a little difficult to hear you.

Funny enough is the music was louder than that, I lowered it by .6 which is basically half the volume it was set to normally and it was still that loud.

Also I apologize if I sounded bored with Kenshin's voice, I really wasn't. It's just that I have watched that scene a million times when I was young and I remember Kenshin's voice actor sounding sorta dispondant and calm cool or bored if you will xD

It's easy Mulie, just take a scene that you really like from an anime. Study the lines, write em down if it makes it easier. Record yourself saying the lines as best as you can. If you like you can throw music into the mix from the scene or scenes.

You could listen to some of the clips from this thread and see more or less what we are doing.

And of course you need to post it so we can hear :3

Yeah if you have a mic your half way there. Then you gotta get yourself a recording program, I recommend Audacity. Free and easy to use.


Try out a scene you really love or just a fun scene in general. Or even do what Kata did and do several different voices.

Pff, if I ever voice acted, I'd probably be like that voice actress who's always voicing young boys, since my voice can't really decide whether it wants to sound like a woman or a boy going through puberty.
