I only have two so far, but I'm always looking for new, unknown mangas to read if I like the plot.

Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro and Nightmare of the Funeral March are my two favourites, though. I don't know many fans of the 2nd one, and I only know a few members on this site who enjoy MTNN.

WHO JUST SAID NIGHTMARE OF THE FUNERAL MARCH?! HIGH MOTHERFUCKING FIVE BRO-HAN~

Lucu Lucu, Paid in full, Mission: SCHOOL! (seriously the Presidential "lol wut" images from it are TOO GOOD.) as well as several other series that not many have read. I'm piggy backing off this thread for uncommon yet good reads. :3

Ohohoho~? NotFM fan, are we? At last I meet one.
And could I ask what Mission; SCHOOL! is about, perhaps? The name piques my interest.

Uncommon manga, eh? How about "With the Light: Raising an Autistic Child"?

It's definitely not as well known as Bleach or Naruto. ;)

I think its relatively uncommon, but one I've enjoyed is Mirai Nikki, or sometimes called Future Diary.

if you don't mind a lot of sex or gore..

- Tomie by Junji Itou (anything by him is great), horror manga about a beautiful immortal girl whose beauty drives men mad
- Uzumaki by Junji Itou, horror manga about a town's obsession with the "spiral"
- Jisatsu Circle by Furuya Usamaru, gory manga about a suicide cult
- GOTH by Ooiwa Kenji, gory manga about two teenagers' obsession with local deaths and serial killers

Well for uncommon mangas I recomend:
Hoshi no Samidare (The Lucifer & Biscuit Hammer) which is a really good under the radar battle manga.

This one is beautiful. I'd really recommend it.

Oh, and if you like ecchi, try Lilim Kiss. It is awesome.

I know, but I actually like Lilim Kiss better.

His drawnings are amazingly cute though.

Hmm... Well, Yen Press, a manga publishing company in America, had printed most of the volumes already. (Unfortunately, Keiko Tobe, the author, died... I don't think it completely finished) I don't know how you can get it in Indonesia (if that's where you really live). Scanlations? Or maybe importing?

Bunny Drop (which is also liscensed by Yen Press) is a story about a thirty year old guy raising his six year old... aunt. (Grandpa sure was active, hohoho!)

One more: Doubt. Pretty good murder mystery manga, if you're into those. (I actually think it was pretty popular while it was released, but eh. Four volumes only, thank goodness.)

I'm in love with a manga that not too many have heard of. It's an early CLAMP work, but it's unfinished (which may explain it's low popularity).

It's called Clover. [Wikipedia link]

Clover has an amazing story and gorgeous art. I find it terribly depressing that it was never finished. :c
